The host is Turtesse, there are no complaints, the hotel guide Ahmed is well done, correct and restrained. The hotel is in marble, everything shines, the room is brand new, very good. In the hotel lobby, the fountain murmurs, in the evening live excellent jazz and not only (piano + saxophone) and we, with a glass of martini on chic soft sofas. Relax complete! The food is super! For 5 visits to Egypt later, I have never seen anything like this. What's delicious, what's good. I will describe briefly: mango and strawberry fresh, grilled, duck with oranges, giant king prawns, 5 types of fish every day (the rest of the variety is not enough to describe the page). I can’t resist yet: a thick fish soup with mussels and shrimps and 3 kinds of fish! True, there was not enough entertainment in the evening. Animation is average. During the day there were enough classes: belly dancing, aqua aerobics, gymnastics. In the evening, during dinner, there were "dances of the peoples of Africa" ​ ​ near the tables. 1 evening a Slavic girl sang, excellent voice. Then until 22.00 - calm, only in the lobby - a piano. From 22.00 - disco. There are not enough people, for 1 day it was only me and my girlfriend + 3 animators: our girlfriend and two local guys. We had fun, chatted and danced. About three hours later, more people dropped in and we got the opportunity to escape from the animators to sleep (They almost forcibly forced us to stay and entertained us all evening! They amused us great! ).
I am now reading reviews about the sea near the hotel and I am disappointed with its smallness. We were surrounded by a section of the sea with buoys so that from left to right the depth increased towards the beach of Al Daw Club, it was almost "with a head" and we could swim freely almost near the coast. The hotel has its own port, but only foreigners were sent on water excursions from this pier, we were taken to the Mashrabiya Hotel, it seems. They asked the guide why this was so, he said that before the pier was for everyone, but there was some kind of scandal with the Slavs and now all "Russians" (read, all residents of the former USSR) are taken on excursions from the common port. It was a little embarrassing for our entire vast Motherland of 15 republics. We went on a trip to Luxor. The move was very tiring and no luck with the tour guide. Throughout the 6-hour journey there, he talked about the family of his ex-girlfriend, who refused him "in the hand" of the bride because of poverty. And the girl still loves him, but he already has a 2-room apartment and he proudly does not look in her direction. Poor girl, it seems she is to blame for the decision of her parents! About Egypt, we only heard from him that he would vote for some party in the elections, and began to paint its election program. It was "terribly interesting" to the whole bus. On the way back, he hawked a hibiscus and, with a sense of accomplishment, was silent all the way. Yes, and it was not before him. Luxor himself struck. The only thing is that my friend and I did not visit the Valley of the Kings. We didn’t have any strength, it was hot, we sat upset on the bus. But ours returned and said that it would be better if they stayed on the bus, the first parts of the tour were more interesting.
We went to Paradise Island twice. The second is influenced by the first. A friend had been to Cuba before and said that near Paradise Island the water is as beautiful as in Cuba + white-white fine sand. The first excursion "Paradise Island" included the following program:

1. at sea on a yacht, 2 stops for snorkeling near corals,
2. by boat to the island itself, 4 hours there: free rest under palm umbrellas + lunch,
3. by boat to the boat and home.
For the first time, they could not understand why some of the tourists were resting under umbrellas, and the second, just in the distance, on the sand. We got the answer on the second excursion "Fishing". Program: 1. at sea on a yacht, 1 stop for snorkeling near corals, 2. by boat to the island itself, but already to that place, away from umbrellas in the sun at noon for 1.5 hours,
3. Back on board, where we had lunch.
4. Actually, the fishing itself. Caught a bucket of fish.
5. Home.
By the way, this year has already banned official fishing in Egypt to preserve the underwater world. Our guide in Sharm said that there are locals who offer this service, but if you are caught by the police at sea, then a fine of about 10 thousand of which, she did not specify.
We really liked Steigenberger. We were also entitled to one hour of golf, a catamaran, a bicycle, a diving lesson for free. I wish you all a pleasant holiday!
