Before the trip, I read negative reviews about the hotel, about their fraud with towels, but as we all think "this will not happen to us", because we are friendly and unpretentious customers. But those were there. We were a group of 7 people (5 adults and 2 children).
Before the trip, I read negative reviews about the hotel, about their fraud with towels, but as we all think "this will not happen to us", because we are friendly and unpretentious customers. But those were there.
The choice fell on this hotel because of the three criteria by which we chose - a small area, the presence of a water park, and a gentle entry into the sea. All of this was in stock.
So we arrived at the hotel around 5 pm. They settled us quickly and at no extra charge in two rooms. Family room 3+2 (1505) and 2 (2002). Everything is decent, although the kopeck piece did not correspond to the paid one (a room with a sea view was paid), but was provided with a view of the pool on the first floor. The family room had one large bed and two sofas. When it came time to go to bed, it became clear that you wouldn’t have to sleep, since the sofa is just knocked down boards without a mattress. We turned to the reception and about an hour and a half later they brought us mattresses. Immediately upon checking in, we noticed that we had 2 beach towels and 2 sets of bath towels, we also informed the cleaner about this and he brought another set of bath towels, arguing that there were no clean ones yet. We are not picky people, and we always take our own towels from home.
For 3 days everything was fine, we enjoyed the sea, a beautiful view from the balcony, we went to Paradise Island. Every day we left the maid either a dollar or a euro, he played little men, elephants, swans for us. On the fourth day, he brought a third beach towel and stated that we should have four. We tried in vain for three more days to explain to him that we had only three of them, to which this boor smiled impudently and asked what he would get for it (that is, he impudently extorted more money). In addition, he unceremoniously came to the room and asked his son to change him ten dollars at 1 dollar for one bill. Of course, we were confused, but still opened the safe and changed it. After 10 minutes, this swindler came and said that the bank does not accept the 10 dollars that we gave him (that is, he had already been to the bank). Here we did not fall for his tricks and sent him home (most likely he wanted to put us fake $ 10).
We immediately went to the reception and wanted to complain, but Olesya, the Russian-speaking hotel employee, was not there, later they came in again, but she was not there either. She probably had the day off. The next day, we somehow relaxed and decided not to complain and not to scandal, but to spend the rest of our stay at the hotel enjoying the rest. They hung a do not disturb sign on the door and went to the beach. But our zealous cleaner still went into the room, cleaned it, twisted the figurine and took the dollar we had not hidden. On the eve of departure on 11/26/2021, the shift probably changed and another maid knocked on our room and offered to change our beach towels, we refused because we had to leave the hotel at 3 am. Then he said to hand over all the beach towels to him and promised that there would be no problems.
When checking out at the reception, we were pleasantly surprised by the provision of a dry breakfast, they immediately gave us to fill out a questionnaire, where we put good and excellent marks. And it started right away. . .
To be in the room there are no towels and not three, but five and we have to pay 10 dollars for each. We were stunned. After the proceedings, it turned out that after all, one towel was not enough and we owed them 10 dollars.
I still had to pay 10 dollars because the bus to the airport was already waiting and from previous reviews I already knew that the truth could not be achieved.
So they made thieves out of us and, on the verge of a nervous breakdown, we went to the airport.
It's a shame, because the hotel is still quite good. And the guys are not all such bastards. They work conscientiously. The bartender Hamdi, the animators - the girl Olesya and two guys, whose names I unfortunately did not remember, and the guys in the dining room from morning until late in the evening and without a tip, and the sea is so wonderful, but there was no rest...
Dear Mr Tamer You really value the reputation of the hotel. Deal with those damn towels once and for all and punish those who abuse your trust. I think it will not be difficult to calculate them by dates and numbers of residence.
Of course, in connection with these events, I will not recommend hotels to anyone.

Not a foot in this hotel, boors work there! Animation for children and adults super! And now about the disadvantages: EXPENSIVE AMINISTRATION of the hotel, pay attention to the quality of cleaning - without "van dollar" the rooms are not cleaned, and when you leave (especially at night or early in the morning) you hand over the lock card of your room at the reception, the duty officer checks the room without your presence... and then "they call you" - the absence of one towel, I paid $5 (face towel), my nephew - $10 (bathroom)... no evidence that they beat you when you closed everything does not work. The bus for the plane stops, people get nervous, you can’t prove anything and they make you pay (the bus won’t wait). It has already become a "tradition" for you to make money on towels... you are simply a disgrace to the hotel - SET UP THE ROOM in the presence of a hotel guest.

There were 2 couples of us, they were not waiting for check-in, a small amount - the keys were in hand, the rooms were on the same floor, very similar. Side sea view. The room is "tired", but not critical, everything is working and everything you need for everyday life is there. Daily cleaning, towels, water, bath cosmetics, tea/coffee. Kettle, safe. Sometimes hearts made of towels and the original design of the bed. There are no comments on the room and cleaning.
The territory is shared with the neighboring 4th King Tut, the owner is one, the use is common to everyone, as I understand it, the difference in price is only because of the rooms, in the Sphinx they are more decent and the view from the windows is better. The 5 has no more privileges over the 4. So, the territory is pretty, with an Egyptian theme in the design: sphinxes, pharaohs, mythological characters in figures and images. There are good photo locations. Sports grounds, children's entertainment (playground and minizoo), water slides (a water park is too loud), two beaches are available: sandy with a smooth entry and Sphinx immediately with depth for those who can swim. There is a reef, there are a lot of fish, masks will come in handy, and even so you can watch, they swim very close. There were plenty of sunbeds, lots of free ones. Change beach towels in the room.
Nutrition. In general, everything is very good. We expected the worst, there is a choice, everything we tried was delicious, we didn’t try a lot of things, but we definitely weren’t hungry. Buffet, but cooks are pouring, not familiar, but in this situation it is appropriate. By appointment, you can visit the Chinese restaurant, normally, you can go. There is a bar on the beach, where you can also have a full meal if you don’t want to change clothes from beach clothes to go to the main restaurant.
Animation is present, there is exercise, water aerobics, some dancing, volleyball, evening entertainment, music. A cool camel on the beach you can ride and take a picture. They offer massages and excursions on the beach, quite intrusively. We did not order excursions on the beach, we turned to trusted guys from a local agency. We are satisfied with everything, both the attitude and the service and the price. The hotel is located in the old town area, but there is nothing special to see there, you can take a walk once, but there is a shopping center nearby, and there are so many different shops with souvenirs and fruits. It makes no sense to go to Senzo Mall, it's better to go to the fish market)

Missed the cleaning - missed the water. They asked - they don’t give, at least die of thirst: ( But : ) Plus the rooms: large, spacious, amazing view, wide beds (there are two of them, we moved them together so as not to change the room), comfortable, flat-screen TV. Cleaning is good.
RESTAURANT: not very big and if you didn't come to the beginning, then there are no more places. We only dined. We had breakfast and dinner at a bar by the sea. The food is not varied and not plentiful. But : ) Very tasty, many thanks to the chef for the meat and fish that just melt in your mouth and for the desserts.
DRINKS: there is nowhere to "get" water. In the machines, orange was diluted every other time. The coffee is terrible. We found a coffee machine at the bar of the restaurant and saved ourselves with cappuccino and latte. The beer is so terrible that I didn't believe it was "it", probably a super diluted and fermented orange; Local bartenders have not heard anything about the cocktail. LAST DAY: in the evening we were warned that check-out was before 12. At 11-30 we were at the reception and... I did not expect such treachery! Our bracelets are cut off. For what, why? But what about lunch? After complaining that we checked into the hotel late at night, ate a "late dinner" and at least we were supposed to have lunch, we were given a "scribble" on a small piece of paper "lunch fries" and "were allowed to eat. Thank God that with the staff in during the rest we "got to know each other" (this is also one of the pluses, responsive staff) and after lunch we "treated" ourselves with cappuccino and latte. But then, going to the reception, I realized that if I'm without a bracelet, then I won't even have a sip of water "Out of naivety" she reached out to the machine with "water", reached for a glass... and heard from the bartender that all drinks are paid and cola costs $ 4. what? ! You are already without a bracelet and no one is going to serve you!
Last year we rested in the Albatross. They left with bracelets on their hands. Nobody cut them. While waiting for the evening transfer, we "dabbled" with snacks: shawarma and pancakes, latte and cappuccino. And when they got on the bus, they took two bottles of chilled water from the counter. Feelings from the rest were fabulous. This year, they recalled the splendor of the dishes, the cleanliness, the "delicious" cocktails in the bars, the many bottles of water at every step and laughed:
