I would like to share my impressions about the SHEDWAN GOLDEN BEACH 3 * hotel.
I'll start with the good.
1. This is the territory of the hotel. It is huge, beautiful and green.
2. Sea. Three beaches for every taste. Living creatures, of course, are few, but they are in the sea. On this, perhaps, the good ended.
About the bad.
The numbers are dead. No cleaning in the room. They took out the garbage, made the bed and that was it. The room was never swept for 8 days, especially the floor was not washed, toilet paper was not laid down either. I generally keep quiet about the balcony, no one has ever looked there. The plumbing is barely breathing. You can’t guess with water, there is no pressure, water flows from the tap either hot or cold. Washing is problematic, you need to wait for the moment when the water appears at an acceptable temperature, but this happiness does not last long, 30 seconds. But this is not the worst thing.

Dining room. You can't call it otherwise. In our domestic sanatoriums, everything is much better. Unsanitary conditions specific. By the beginning of the meal, a queue is lined up, there are not enough dishes for everyone. And if there are dishes, then you can’t call them clean. All this was disgusting. The dining room is small and when someone has eaten, the waiter comes up, removes the dirty dishes, immediately puts a paper napkin and cutlery on this dirty rag tabletop (all in crumbs, leftovers and traces of food). It's just pure horror. I had to wipe all the dishes and cutlery before eating with a paper napkin. As for food, everything is modest, but you can eat. No pastries, only buns and biscuits in different designs. From fruits, chopped melon and apples or oranges are also cut into pieces. Once there were dates, but who did not have time, he, as they say, was late.
The animation is terrible. A hotel for the Slavs, there are 99.9% Russian speakers. But the animators do not know where and entertain us all in broken Russian with their stupid jokes that are unacceptable to us. The pool chairs are metal. They assume that they should have ottomans, but they are not there. As a result, you sit on a cold metal grate.
Towels on the beach are terrible, washed, gray. The towels in the rooms are also not much better, in some spots, gray, not white.
Conclusion: if possible, overpay and relax in another hotel! I have been to Egypt nine times, but I have never seen anything like it. Saved only by the sea and the beach from early morning until late evening. In the evening they fled to the city.
P. S. The pluses include the location of the hotel in the old town, where you could run away in the evening, since it was by no means a joy to be in the room. A fruit market is a 10-minute walk away. Fruit for a penny for every taste.
