At the Hurghada airport, we were waiting for a queue of tourists filling out entry forms and cunning Egyptians, knocking down our brother instead of 15 USD. e. for a visa all 17 c. u. e. On the advice of the members of the forum, we immediately turned right to the counters with the inscription Bank and bought visas for 15 c. u. Yes, you can change the currency there. After all the check-ins at the airport, we are met by three Anekstura posts. We were put on the bus quickly, but it was much more difficult with occupancy - we waited for an hour until tourists from different flights got on the bus + 50 minutes we were taken around the outskirts of Hurghada to accommodate tourists in other hotels. Our hotel looked much better from the outside, but inside, namely the hall, I was not impressed. Since it was in December, all the hotels had spruces decorated, and in our hotel it was decorated, but somehow skewed, the hall was hung with a simple rain, at the reception there was also a small Christmas tree. Everything is very modest. Settlement - a separate issue. Our arrival time is 12-20, arrival at the hotel is 15-10, and we were settled at 16-30! Moreover, having collected our passports, they could still feed us (and we left the house at 7-00! ), But no one cared about us, only after half an hour they began to call one by one and offer numbers. Someone immediately paid money or a chocolate bar, someone counted on a chance. We were offered the 2nd building, but we refused, because there is only 1 floor, there is a checkpoint on both sides of the building, there is a loud disco nearby. For the things that the porter brought us, he wanted to charge us 5 c. u. e. , we gave 1. And then we were offered building 8.3rd floor at the very end - still better, away from loud music and night movements of the wheels of the suitcases of tourists who arrive or depart. The territory of the hotel is gorgeous, the food has already been described a hundred times, but I would not advertise pastries like that, they are far from ideal, just the cakes are the same, but the sweets are different. Anex's guides are something. Solid intimidation, fines, and various stories about insurance have already got. People, the hotel is cool as an economy option, and I will never recommend Anex. Their divorces do not work on experienced tourists, but it’s a pity for newcomers. The city is dirty, but there is where to walk. We found a Christian church, a large cathedral is being built near it. Many residents are Christians, there are Russians and Ukrainians who have bought housing and live. The vegetable market is not bad, but not for the faint of heart. Prices are fixed, written in Arabic numerals, so you need to learn a little, otherwise they will deceive you. Now is the season for pomegranates, orange, tangerines, strawberries, mango, ashta, etc. Nearby is a market where they sell birds and animals, as well as a fish market. I was amazed that they were selling pigeons - it turns out that the Egyptians have a dish made from this bird, which is served to a man for dinner (this was told to us by a local Egyptian with whom we became friends, Marco (as he calls himself) or Maher (locally), he wife from Donetsk. So all 7 days and rested. The wind was strong for the first 3 days, and at the end of the rest, in general, beauty is completely calm, although the sea is cool - not for everybody. The flight back did not portend any trouble, but it appeared when boarding the plane. One inadequate lady, about 30 years old, either drunk or stoned, began to pester the stewards and crew members, persuading them to calm down, she behaved obsessively, for which she paid with calling the police and removing her from the plane. Most likely, she will face a considerable fine for a flight delay - for 1 hour 40 minutes and deportation for 5 years for defiant behavior in an Arab country. As a result, we missed all flights and arrived in Boryspil with a big delay. Pleased the crew of Utair - everything is fine. I wish everyone to get a lot of positive emotions from a vacation in such a colorful country as Egypt, do not get hung up on trifles and remember - you are a guest, where you are always welcome, but the reception may not always be the same as you receive guests, but everything is done from the heart with respect and hope for a small reward.
