We rested at Sunrise Mamlouk Palace 5 * from November 08 to 14 with my daughter (21 years old) and my mother. It was the fourth time in Egypt. I have long wanted to visit this hotel, because in 2004 we were in Gardena, I liked everything very much. Tour operator Anex tour, the first time they flew from Anex, there is no enthusiasm. The flight was Utair, when we bought the tour, we specifically chose Vnukovo airport, departure at 4.05 in the morning, but apparently we were unlucky, we flew from Domodedovo at 6.15. The flight was a Boeing 757-200, a very narrow plane, very worn inside. The flight there was delayed for about 2 hours, the flight was transferred back from 10.30 to 17.00, although we were informed about this in the evening on the eve.
ARRIVAL:
Upon arrival, we received visas for $ 17, although the stamp says 15, a lot of flights arrived, I had to go through customs for about 1 hour. From the outside, the meeting of tourists by representatives of the tour operator looks like this - you are passed along the chain from one guide to another. When approaching the bus, to put the suitcase, one local resident runs up, throws the suitcase into the luggage compartment and insistently asks for 100 rubles for it. !! ! We were shocked. Then checking the list, boarding the bus - and go! They brought us to the hotel quickly, with a check-in only at Garden Beach. Nobody helped to get the suitcases from the bus, the representative just went missing. We also filled out the cards without help. At the reception I gave $ 10 and asked for a building closer to the sea. After 1 hour, we were finally given a key card and cards for towels, and we left our suitcases and went in search of our building, our number was 22301. The building turned out to be, as we asked by the sea. The hotel guide's name is Safa, I can say one thing - there is no sense in him, he is only interested in tourists who buy paid services (excursions, SIM cards, etc. ), for questions that arose, he sent everyone to the reception or to Russian girls Olga and Elena.

ROOM:
The room is quite spacious and clean, but to our regret there were only two beds for three, we had to call the reception and knock out the bed, after the bed they waited a long time for linen, and the rest time goes on, but the cleaner smiled like a May rose, everything is OK with him. We managed to get the third shower towel only on the second day, while this was said twice at the reception and the representative from Anexa Safe. Plumbing in the room is in good condition. There is also air conditioning, hairdryer, safe, tea and coffee set, mini-bar, TV with 2 Russian channels, shower. Room cleaning was average, sometimes you come from the sea at 13 o'clock, and the room has not been cleaned yet. Constantly the cleaner did not put coffee, no matter how you ask him for coffee finish, there were no towels for the legs at all, and from the shower the water flowed very well onto the floor. The mini bar is filled once upon arrival with two bottles of plain water, a bottle of cola, sprite and mirinda. Then every day you are given two bottles of 0.6 plain water, although the cleaner sometimes forgot to do this for us.
NUTRITION:
From November 1, the hotel introduced bracelets, red-ultra, green-all inclusive. Imported alcohol, as Safa explained to us, will not be in Egypt now, the difference between ultra and all inclusive, only in visiting a la carte restaurants, for all inclusive you can only go once to Mexican, an appointment at the reception for three days. The food is average, cutting from several types of cheese, sausages (they are cut in front of you in the corner of the hall by a guy in gloves). A variety of buns, puffs, cakes, croissants along with jams. The main juice for breakfast is orange, apple, mango, hibiscus, pineapple; next - guava juice. Fruits only for lunch and dinner: orange, melon was only 1 time per week, dates (unripe), guava, pomegranate, banana, grapefruit, apple. For children - cereals and Nesquik breakfast cereals. Very few meat dishes, mostly pasta, beans and rice. The restaurant has a coffee machine - about 5 types of coffee, incl. cappuccino and espresso. We went to a Mexican restaurant, signed up on November 8, only on the 11th there was a place, we liked the restaurant, the food was also served by the excellent waiters Ahmed and Kamail, thanks to them for the service.

TERRITORY:
The hotel area is large, you can use the neighboring hotel Sunrise Garden, the area is greener there, and the hotel is already 8 years old, we liked it more there. There are 4 Italian and Oriental restaurants on the territory of Sunrise Garden, Mexican and Asian - in Mamluk. Vacationers, for the most part, are Germans, there are also Poles, a few French, Ukrainians and Russians. In the evening there is where to roam.
ANIMATION:
The animation is really good: all day long they run along the beach and the territory and invite people to volleyball, various dances, aqua aerobics, etc. There is also evening animation in the Garden, in principle, the guys are trying, but we went there only once for a show with snakes (we didn’t dare anymore).
BEACH:
The beach is large, sandy, but on the very first day we had a theft of a towel from a sunbed, in the morning we swam and went for breakfast, when we arrived we didn’t find a sunbed or a towel, it was a shock, I heard about this, but not in this hotel and no one didn't see it, the towel costs 75 pounds. Then we saw more than once on the beach how beach workers took away mattresses from sunbeds from people who left for a while, throwing their towels on the sand, this is just a disgrace. The sea was 22 degrees, very refreshing, they say this is an anomaly for this time of year. There is a bar on the beach where you can take non-alcoholic drinks from 10 am, and alcoholic drinks from 11 am, but we went to the Gardena bar more, in ours, as it seemed to us, the drinks were diluted. From 12 noon there are pastries, french fries, hamburgers and pizza.
DEPARTURE:

As I already wrote, the flight was postponed for 6.5 hours, no one helped to bring the suitcases to the reception, and there the stairs were very large, the bracelets were cut off, saying that lunch was paid, asking Safa about lunch, he again sent us to the reception, but we still ate in peace. No one helped put the suitcases on the bus again. We were escorted with the words “come again” - no, just not to this hotel, there is no service for the top five. On the way to the airport, we were taken to hotels for an hour, and then they brought us to a sweet factory, it was already too much, again minus Aneksu.
We did not go to the persistently proposed excursions of Safa, it was very expensive, and we had already seen a lot of things. Egypt is becoming more expensive, but the service is falling there. I will definitely go to Egypt again, but probably with other tour operators (most likely Tez) and to other hotels, because the choice is large.
CONCLUSION: An average hotel for people who came to bask in the sun and swim. Certainly not five stars, but a solid four. Before that, we rested in the hotels Sunrise Garden Beach (from Sunrise), Grand Plaza Hotel (Troika), Alf Leile (Teztur)
