13/03 returned from the hotel. I decided to scribble a few lines, maybe someone will come in handy.
Like a short introduction. Should have flown 06/02 to Sunrise Garden Beach Resort. Everything was paid for, but due to well-known events, the rest had to be postponed. After the resumption of flights to Egypt (I'm from Ukraine), the option of a trip to Sharm was considered, but TA offered very good conditions for SUNRISE MAMLOUK PALACE.
Abroad, including in Egypt, not the first time. Always used the services of the TEZ tour, in this race - Anex. Very worried about the negative reviews about the latter. But in the end we are VERY happy! No problem, no problem at all!
About the situation in Hurghada. Everything is fine, do not be afraid! No problem. We walked every day with my wife and daughter (8 years old) outside the hotel. We visited Cleopatra Bazaar (a very good store with fixed prices), Senza Mall (a large shopping center), etc. Everyone is friendly, really looking forward to tourists coming back. There are a lot of police, but everything is calm.
There are only two external differences from last year's holiday:
- little Russian speech in the hotel and beyond
- friendlier staff (maybe it seemed)
About the hotel. Excellent hotel. There is something to compare. Everything is very calm and good. Cleaned every day in the room, even when I forgot to hang a sign. Territory is clean and tidy. The staff is constantly smiling. Fed to death. Not everyone liked it, but there was a choice, and a large one. Animation also worked out at 100%. Every day there are discos for children and adults, live music in the lobby bar (some guy, music from a laptop, but he sang live). There were no problems with sunbeds by the sea or the pool, there were enough places for everyone. Two girls from Bulgaria were engaged in children in a children's club, so much so that the daughter did not want to leave : -), constantly playing, dancing and other children's entertainment.
The contingent of vacationers is 70% Germans, French and Poles. According to the representative of Aneks, there were about 60 Ukrainians, and 2 more Belarusians : -).
There are no Russians yet.
The only "minus" of the hotel is not quite new, but again, very clean and tidy.
