We decided to go with the whole family to warm Hurghada in winter. We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, at 12:00. Upon arrival, we were accommodated pretty quickly, the room was excellent on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool, cleaning was daily. The room got a standard one, but we agreed at the reception for a bigger room (of course, paying extra). Inside there was a large double bed, two small ones for children, TV, air conditioning, a chair, a small table, a mirror, a wardrobe, a safe, a minibar. The plumbing and bathroom worked well. They cleaned every day, changed the bed every other day. Twisted beautiful figurines from towels. The staff is friendly and unobtrusive.
The hotel area is small but very well maintained. The hotel is essentially on the second line, although it was sold to us as the first line, but it is only 5 minutes walk to the sea through a narrow and quiet one-way road through a beautiful garden through the main Grand Plaza 5 *. Those living on the second line can use the beach, infrastructure and bars on the territory of the first line (but not the restaurant).
2 pools, 1 of them heated, just right for the winter, there are 3 water slides that didn't work just a couple of times. There is nothing interesting to the right of the hotel, but on the left there are various cafes, souvenir shops and shops, it is very pleasant to walk along it in the evening, unless of course annoying Egyptian sellers scare you.

Nutrition. The food is wonderful for a 4-ki, there were seafood 2-3 times, not in all 5, and of course there were all sorts of cakes, there were fruits, but not much, there was even ice cream in the bar during the day, there were no queues, everything was delicious, except for drinks , but it's like that almost everywhere, yupi. I can’t say about alcohol, I didn’t drink, but my husband said it was weak and they poured it only from 11.00 to 00.00.
The beach is clean. The sea is clean, but there is no living creatures, we went on excursions with a mask to swim, for fun, you could take a boat or a catamaran for free for 30 minutes. a day and go for a ride, there were always enough sunbeds on the beach.
Tours were purchased from a local guide. Nice guy, knowledgeable guide. We have something to compare, believe me. They ordered from him a trip on ATVs through the desert, a horse ride, an excursion to Luxor.
Grand Plaza is ideal for a relaxing and measured holiday. Recommended for large families and young couples!
