Room for $ 10 (requested 30) with a sea view - a gorgeous view. And they extort money for a room in every hotel. Refurbished room, clean. Bedding is clean. I didn’t like the smell of the bedspread - nivapros, they immediately took it away and washed it. Everything worked in the bathroom, there were always toiletries. Our glasses fell into disrepair - during the next cleaning they themselves gave out new packed glasses. ATTENTION - I found a minus - there are no hair dryers at all in the hotel !!!
At the reception fulfilled any request. There is a currency exchange at the hotel, the rate is better than in a bank in Dahar. Internet does not work, but there are many Internet cafes near the hotel. The nearest one is to the left of the hotel on the opposite side by 100 meters. From 3 to 5 pounds an hour.

The food is normal, fresh, hot and always available. Quite varied, 2 types of meat, 2-3 side dishes, soup. I won't list everything - you won't go hungry. Some sweets were 6 kinds and every day different.
Beach. Not at first, but then I got used to it. The beds are really old. Towels ran out already at 5 o'clock. But it's better than in the 4-ke used towels were folded again and used... they did not end there)))) Corals are weak compared to Charm. Although upon closer examination they liked it, the variety of fish is great. A stingray and a roosterfish were spotted. And behind the next pier on the left, which, they saw 2-meter tuna - a breathtaking sight.
Location. In the old city. On both sides of the hotel cafe, you can buy beer - 10 pounds. To the center of a taxi 5 pounds, McDonald's - 10, Esplanade - 15. Souvenirs at the Sheraton are more diverse and the prices are the same or even lower. I advise the fish restaurant - Starfish - delicious. Prices: fish + squid + garnish + salad - 50 pounds, grilled shrimp - 50 pounds, seafood soup (highly recommended) - 10 pounds. Discotheques - Littlebuddah - on Sundays ladies from 11 to 1 all drinks are free.
about the local population. Yes, the locals appear on the beach in the afternoon, terribly noisy. No one took a picture of us, no one pestered us. Once, on a remote lagoon where locals swim, an Arab filmed with his phone, saw him, showed him his fist and the sign “head-axe”, he immediately understood everything and left. If you don’t want the Arabs’ obtrusiveness, don’t look them in the eyes when they are talking to you – silently pass by, as soon as you start to answer that you don’t need this product, that’s all – contact has been made, he will not be left behind. Another very useful expression “Shuf Shuglyar” - mind your own business - worked great. If you are alone, sit in the back seat in a taxi.
The porter called the room a couple of times, did not understand my threats, they asked the guide to explain that it was not necessary to do this. That's it, there were no more calls, and when he saw us, he closed his eyes with his hands)))) More impudence of the staff was not noticed.

Conclusion - the hotel did not spoil the rest in any way, and the sea view only added pluses. The hotel was built 25 years ago - hence all its troubles. But all taxi drivers know it))) No matter how they remove it, there is no necessary gloss. The dining room is about to be refurbished. I would return to the hotel, but only to the room on the third floor.
