The hotel was chosen based on the price-quality ratio + reviews on websites on the Internet. And they weren't wrong! The hotel lives up to its 4 stars. Settling (specifically with us) happened without problems. We arrived at 9 am, the check-in was great. Managed to get to the forefront to the manager at the reception. First they gave the keys to the room in the bungalow (building A). When we looked at the room, I didn’t like it-(((Firstly, there was no balcony, and secondly, the view from the window - to the restaurant and the kitchen. This means no peace either in the evening or at night. I had to return to the manager, remember a couple -a trio of Arabic words, smile, and- URA-))) We had the keys to the room in the main building! This room is quite consistent with the star rating of the hotel. The furniture is ordinary, not new, but quite... Plumbing is also at the level, nothing has ever broken. True, there were interruptions in hot water, but this was mainly during the mass return of people from the beach. The view from the window was on the famous Mamsha in Hurghada. This had its pros and cons. Minus is the place of the promenade of the local population. And since this period fell on Easter, the mass noisy festivities did not stop either during the day or especially at night. Noisy, of course, and the question arose, when do their children sleep? Moreover, "everyone danced" -))) And not only local Christian Copts, but also Muslims. Maybe they also had some kind of holiday at that time? Pros - everything else! Not far from the hotel is the famous club Little Bidda. There are a lot of shops, small shops and large shops where they sell everything and everything-))) There are shops with fixed prices, You can't bargain there! But in small shops and shops, a sport called "let's bargain" entertains everyone - both the seller and the buyer. You just need to remember that if you do not plan to buy a product, it is better to bargain and not start.
The hotel has one tour operator is Pegasus. There is always one of their employees on site, so that all problems related to the rest are resolved quickly. By the way. It's no secret that Russian people have a tradition of "booking" sunbeds on the beach from 6 o'clock in the morning. A towel (or other toilet item) is put on - and your sunbed -))) Since this hotel is inhabited exclusively by Slavic citizens, this tradition exists. But what angered the majority of vacationers was the "fashion" introduced by one of the fellow citizens before dinner in the same way to take seats in a restaurant in the fresh air. It happens that you come to dinner - and all the chairs around the stage are already "occupied" with someone's scarves, pareos, and other toilet items - (((The waiters did not react to this in any way and only appealed to the Pegasus guide, and to them - to the hotel management, for some time this "lawlessness" was stopped. Everyone wants to listen to the performances of the famous Eva, who has been singing in this hotel for quite a long time. By the way, those who visit the hotel not for the first time become owners of "golden" bracelets. This gives some benefits, in particularly when choosing a room.
The food at the hotel is of a very high standard. For breakfast - scrambled eggs, pancakes, scrambled eggs (although they don’t fry it in front of you, but place it in a container on a common buffet), vegetables, cheese, sausage, breakfast cereals, yogurts, cheese. Baking is beyond praise. Cakes, pastries, croissants with and without filling. . . Everything cannot be described-))) Fruits - bananas, oranges, dates, melons, guava, fresh juices can be prepared right in front of you at the entrance to the restaurant. But-((( 3 dollars-((( As an alternative, I can advise - the hotel bar has wonderful juices from packages. Just don't think that they are similar to ours, Russian... Really tasty and almost natural.

For lunch - mashed soups, vegetables, meat, chicken, fish. Fruits and pastries - as always. Drinks are tea and coffee. There is a coffee machine, so lovers of cappuccino and latte are expanse.
Dinner is almost the same as lunch. Only on the street they still cook various "harmful" delicacies such as french fries, meatloaf, grilled fish and meat, pizza. Fruits and pastries - as always -))) In short, who wants to gain 5-10 extra pounds to their "favorite 150" - everything is in Marlin-))). They serve food there 23 hours a day. First, breakfast from 7 to 10, then a late breakfast from 11 to 13, then lunch. At 18.30 and until it stops - dinner. In the interval for those who are especially dying of hunger, food on the beach is french fries, hamburgers, salads, ice cream, beer-))). The hotel also has a 24-hour bar with spirits and juices, as well as something like a cafe where there are pastries and coffee and tea. You can sign up for a visit to Italian, Japanese or fish restaurants.
The beach is small for such a hotel. The sun loungers are right next to each other. Due to this, you can always find a free place. True, no one promises the line closest to the sea if you arrive at 11-12 o'clock. Those who like to relax closer to the sea come at 6 o'clock in the morning, "mark" their sunbeds with towels, and then calmly go to fill up -))), I don’t know about anyone, but I have a feeling of relaxation on the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus and shots from the film "Be my husband "(in a good way) pursued throughout the rest-))) And if during the rest in other hotels, at least occasionally, you hear a foreign speech, then in Marlin, 99.9% of vacationers speak Russian. Apparently, therefore, all the attendants, too, somehow, at the very least, but were forced to learn the basics of the Russian language. From the first appearance of you on the beach, barkers from the massage parlor, tattooists, seeing "fresh white meat" will start a "hunt", trying to convince that their procedures will immediately make Cleopatra out of you-)))
The entrance to the sea is gentle, the bottom is sand. Kids - expanse. True, there is also a pier for yachts. Once there was a case that a huge amount of gasoline was dumped into the sea, all the water was covered with an oil film, people had a headache from a pungent smell. No one dared to swim that day, but the truth is, the next day everything was fine.

Animation in the hotel at a high level. I don't know which team which. very praised in previous reviews, I was there before, but the current guys and girls also do not rest-))) Water aerobics, bocha, volleyball, belly dance, it's all there. In the evening - shows and discos for both adults and children-)))
I can't say anything about tours. However, from past experience, I know that sea excursions taken from agencies on the street (to the left of the hotel) are no worse than the same ones, but for more money, and bought from a teroperator. And your medical insurance (God forbid) is valid in any case. The main thing is to be sober-))).
