Rested in Magawish from 9 to 19 June with friends.
In general, everything is fine, the rest was a success, but there are some things that I simply have to convey to you.
TOUR OPERATOR
They flew from the Anex-tour (and last year too). Last year, Anks really didn’t like it, it’s one scam, but this year it’s just one joy. It all depends on the guide. Last year we had a guide Nabil (Dybil-Arab) and this time a Russian girl Katya. We ordered two excursions: quad bikes for three hours and diving. Never take a full day safari. This is one horror. ALL tour operators are chasing tourists, it doesn't matter, all day long, but it's no use, it's very tiring. This time we went for three hours - super. And Pegasik (the guide of Pegasus is a small freak, therefore, "Pegasik", wanted to breed us) offered quad bikes for $ 45, and our guide Anex-tour and "Yalla" on the beach for 30.
ROOM
It makes no sense to pay money for a room (bribes for a good room), they still settle Russians and "Euro" people in different areas of the hotel, despite the fact that the Soviet people won back the Suez Canal and the Sinai Desert for Egypt. It's just that Russians don't pay euros. We were in Serenity (Makadi Bay) and saw how black-assed Germans serve for tips (they threw about 10 euros, which is about 10 UAH compared to our salaries. . So they lick their _ops.
Rooms in Magawish are a separate issue. It is necessary to discount the fact that this is the first hotel in Hurghada, built in 1979. Accordingly, the furniture is very old, but it fully meets modern requirements for comfort (normal beds and mattresses, a grandmother's closet, an old air conditioner and a TV), but there is no hair dryer, kettle, safe in the room (it is at the reception 1 dollar per day size), plumbing is good . The rooms are cleaned daily, as is the change of towels. The towels are not dirty, they are just washed and old.
By the way, if you want to change towels or bed linen, throw them on the floor, the cleaner will change them (this is written in the announcement at the reception). TV shows two Russian-language channels. Not all rooms have green spaces around. In the end - after all, we didn’t come to sit in the room.
BEACH
Special attention about sunbeds and umbrellas special attention: they came at 7 in the morning and everything was already taken. Everyone is sleeping, but there are no seats. It turned out that dirty "Yalla" throw towels on sunbeds in the center of the beach and then sell them for dollars.
