Hotel Kalimera Hurghada is absolutely in line with its 4 stars, plus you can put in for service. The service is really great. Friendly, patient even to "ours", attentive, neat and unpretentious - will tip - fine - will not give - will not clean worse. OK. About the hotel. Families with children should go there, because the sea is shallow, so you will not worry about the offspring. If you are looking for corals, fish, in short, the beauty of the Red Sea - you are not here. Also not here if you want to hang out. The hotel is mostly German and very quiet. Animators work very well with children.
The joke is that the animation is in German or English, but the children somehow understand everything. The cuisine is mostly European, with a variety of dishes, vegetables, fruits, meat, sweets - as much as you want, the chefs are constantly making sure that everything is, and if something ends - serve. So it is not necessary to come to the beginning of the meal. The hotel is the last of the working from Hurghada. A taxi costs $ 15. in both directions, while taxi drivers will be waiting for you while you go shopping and choose souvenirs, you can walk at least 3 hours. To the old town and back - 10 dollars. But frankly - there are special beauties: -) no. Dirty, poor and sad.
By the way, if you want a better room - make $ 20 and say you want closer to the sea and the 2nd floor. If you do not like something, change the number without problems. At least that was the case with us.

Everything worked in the room, all "bungalows" have terraces and balconies, so it's especially nice when the view from the window will be on some water or garden. The area is very green and very beautiful. There are 5 pools, 2 of which are heated: central and near the amphitheater. In the latter, the water temperature is 28-30 degrees, less is known about it. The beach is small but cozy. There is a trick with beach towels. They take bail - 8 bucks. Don't lose all the cards they give: the laundry, the receipt and the card itself. Because you will not see the money back.
