And now about the hotel: plus - the hotel is only 11 km from the airport, ie. no need to travel by bus to other hotels to bring vacationers on vacation (20 minutes drive), minus the planes that flew over us, bringing new batches of tourists, i. e. some vacationers were disturbed by the rumble of flying planes... it's a pity, because it's so interesting, but for whom. We arrived at the hotel at about 10 o'clock in the morning, settled us very quickly, while we filled out the check-in card, we immediately noticed that all the sofas at the reception were occupied, i. е. this is an indication that the hotel has a lot of vacationers. Without any additional payments, we were given a chic room 222 (2nd floor), pool view, although all the rooms there have a pool view, and during the rest in this hotel no one ever asked for a tip, there was not even a hint of them. The room they gave us was just huge, 80 meters, it consists of two rooms - a living room and a bedroom, furnishings: the furniture is not the latest, but in good condition, even in excellent condition, there is air conditioning in each room, an LCD TV (about 30-40 channels, but there were 3 or 4 Russians) a refrigerator, an electric kettle, a telephone, an electronic safe, so for your safety, keep valuables in it, a mini-bar (on arrival they gave many bottles of water, sprite and cola, and natural juice for the child) they cleaned every day and changed the towel too, our room was far away, so they always cleaned somewhere around 13-14 in the afternoon) The hotel area is generally very clean and tidy, because. from morning to evening, gardeners cut something, plant it, even wash the paths, if you go around the hotel you will find a volleyball court, a kids club, all sorts of swings, well, chess, and a tennis court, so my advice is not to just sit at pool, bypass the territory completely, at least the hotel where you live.
About food: excellent, everything was super, there is always a choice between fish, poultry and meat. We went to restaurants in other hotels, but the food is the same everywhere. A la carte restaurants did not impress us, and we went to almost everything (you can visit 3 a la carte for the whole vacation), so you don’t have to waste time on them. Of the fruits, there were oranges, pomegranates, bananas, melons, apples and pears (they gave them whole at once, then they cut them so that they would not be taken out of the restaurant) The service in the restaurant was super, the waiters work very well, just leave the plate immediately removed, the tables are set on 2.4 and 6 people, so they may be asked to change seats). You can write a lot with food, but everyone has their own food (you yourself understand who eats what and what they like, you won’t die of hunger)))))
Topaz has the coolest pool (of all the 6 hotels that we went to, it is heated, which is very important for Egypt in winter, as in the evening everyone converges from other 6 hotels in Topaz for a disco, and in the morning everyone comes to swim with us, there is depth almost 2.5 meters in places, a small drawback was that you need to take towels from the pool in Topaz and go to the beach with your towel, (but you can ride a minibus for free every 20 minutes) The beach is also not bad, there are corals, and between them there are sandy sunsets, we swam with a mask - a sea of impressions, you swim like in an aquarium, super easy!!!
The animation is at its best, every evening the team dressed up in funny costumes and before the show they entertained people all evening both in the restaurant and in the lobby, several times they went to see the dancing fountain - this is an unforgettable sight, if you go to this hotel, be sure to go to the show. On the beach, the animation is also on top - all day competitions in the water, various dances, gymnastics, etc. I would especially like to note that something interesting always happens on the territory, Bedouins in national costumes play drums and pipes, etc. There is always a choice of where to go and what to see, as each hotel has its own animation. On the territory of the Golden Five there is a main disco in Paradise, but it is there until 2 and drinks are paid, in Topaz on the second floor there are discos every day at the beginning for children, and then for adults, admission is free and drinks are also free until 00.00, it seems. In real life, the disco does not end at 2 o'clock, until you see people dancing, everything is going on, it happened at 3.30 the lights were turned on.
