Yesterday we returned from a vacation at Topaz. Completely disappointed. This hotel is an anti-advertisement for a holiday in Egypt. When we entered the reception, its level immediately became clear. snow. . . Visiting the toilet, which is the only one for the whole hotel, resembles a free toilet in the market: stench, dirty washbasins and toilet bowls, door handle. We settled in room 528 immediately. The room seemed to make a good impression, but unpleasant details were revealed. The sofa staggered because there was no leg, there was sawdust in the closet on the shelf, the door to the balcony did not open. The bar was filled with water and cola only in the evening after our urgent request. Towels and bed linen are gray, with blood stains from dead mosquitoes. On the walls and on the ceiling are multiple corpses of the above-named insects, the contemplation of which did not raise mood. Towels for the beach are generally a nightmare.
People with our yellow and gray towels on the beach stood out and looked like some kind of refugees. Their exchange system is simply humiliating and resembles a hostel. Once we received a wet towel, as if it had just been folded and given out again. The hotel area is very unkempt, although the staff is constantly spinning underfoot and pretending to be busy. The general appearance is depressing. Battered and sometimes missing paving slabs, small debris. A separate topic is bars. The bartenders pour everything with a hand trembling with greed. Bar counters are dirty, in sticky crumbs, flies are swarming. The bartender doesn't care at all. Now about nutrition. The hotel practically did not have a restaurant. We had to go to other hotels, which were allowed with our bracelets only an hour before closing after the guests had eaten (very fun! ). We were in an a la carte Italian restaurant. They put me at a table with a breakable lid, staggering.
And he was not the only one, before we sat down for dinner, we had to change seats twice. The cuisine of this restaurant is simply amazing! My wife has been to Italy three times and has never seen mashed potatoes eat there, especially with lumps! When we asked for a glass of wine, they brought us a list of wines and cocktails, which we could only get for money (and this is in the all-inclusive option! ). A visit to a Russian restaurant also did not cause joy. Dirty chairs, the same wobbly tables, almost darkness and the complete absence of Russian flavor killed not only us, but also other visitors. Is it really impossible to guess to turn on the tape recorder with Russian songs? If Leontiev's songs had not been turned on on the phone at the next table, then dinner would have resembled a commemoration, and their own. Mostly Russian people rest in the hotel, and it is in the interests of the hotel to study at least a little bit of their customs: serve vodka first (as we asked),

and not during dessert (as they brought us). We decided to have a farewell dinner at the hotel restaurant. Again shock. when we approached the doors we were pleasantly surprised: the hall was beautifully decorated with colorful tablecloths with a Muslim pattern. But after we sat down at the table, we saw multiple holes! In general, about nutrition: for breakfast, there was nothing to eat except for eggs and soy sausages! My wife and I are picky people, but what we were offered at this hotel is sheer squalor and, moreover, in all respects. The only thing that can be at least a little praised is a two-room suite, but we did not come to sit in the room. Special thanks to the hotel for selling a bottle of champagne on New Year's Eve for $34 (there was no other), although we were charged $100 per person for the gala dinner! In general, the rest was a "success"!
