Rested alone in Yegi 27.05-06.06. 2008. Hello! I want to talk about Hurghada and the Arabia Azur hotel. Went to Egypt for the first time. I knew nothing about the hotel, as well as about the country. But the White Swan agency assured me that I would be satisfied. At home, after surfing the Internet with an already purchased ticket, I convulsively read the horror that was written about Arabia Azur. I was on the forums, various sites and was already desperate to have a good rest.
Arrival-accommodation. We arrived in Yegi around 21-22.00 Bashkir Airlines without delay. We were met by Intourist. Everything was quickly organized, arranged and seated on buses. Our destination was seated in a small but comfortable bus with a Russian-speaking guide. All the stories told us, explained. Our hotel was the latest. They put me in a great room (B 217) with no money. By the way, my fellow traveler was also settled nearby in a good room without money! Two-room suite with a TV in each (1 Russian channel - the first) and 2 air conditioners. We were asked to wait at a table at the reception, brought drinks. Then things were torn apart. The number was shown there. All arranged. We were fed despite the late hour. Then, in the dark, they began to explore the territory. Of course, the picture was not complete, but for the first day it was sufficient. In the morning we had an introductory meeting (at 10.00). Wonderful guide Amir explained everything in detail. That was the start of my stay there.
People. The people there are mostly imported. All normal people. Not particularly intrusive. At least some knowledge of English helps a lot. Russian Germans come across. All are benevolent. The hotel staff is also kind and attentive. They speak a little Russian. For the Russians themselves, sometimes it is a shame...

Sea. The beach there is really good. There is a coral reef, there is sand - for an amateur. I have always gone to Marina. There are no children and animation. Therefore, it is calm, especially since there is also a Marina cafe, where there was always food and drinks. By the way, after 19.00 swimming is not allowed either in the sea or in the pool. It's dangerous in the sea, there's chlorine in the pool. Sunbeds and towels free of charge. Masks, snorkels, flippers - for a fee. It is better to buy in the city and use it calmly.
Service. Waiters equally serve Russians and foreigners. The fact that someone was not topped up or poured into plastic, and not into glass... no. Just for each drink its own container. And they don’t pour into glass on the beach at all - it’s dangerous, after all.
As for food. I had enough food. To my taste, she was normal. No poisoning, no pain, nothing. Let someone say that there is no diversity. But I didn’t have time to try everything in 10 days. The waiters are kind and attentive. I loved to dine by the pool by candlelight.
Room cleaning. Yes, every day. Not perfect gloss, but enough. I didn’t keep track of towels and bed linen, because I think that at home we don’t change these things every day either !! ! I didn't leave a tip. But on the 4th day, they twisted a crocodile out of towels and bedspreads for me. I saw cockroaches (food is everywhere), although they carefully process everything. I told the cleaners about it. The guys gave me a can of dichlorvos. This is where it all ended.
Entertainment. Animation in German, sometimes oriental dances were performed by Egyptian guys. There was also volleyball and something else they entertained during the day. But that didn't really interest me. There is a Tango bar there. The music is, of course, special. But you can have fun. I often went to the neighboring Arabella Azur for a disco in Calabush. It's more modern there. Only drinks for us were paid.
Departure. Our plane was at night. The room must be vacated at 12.00 noon. I collected all the things in a suitcase and put it out by 12.00 in front of the door. I took my bathing suits with me and went to the beach. All day you can enjoy all the benefits. At the reception, you only need to arrange a room where you can put yourself in order before the road. I did this with friends who left 2 later than me.

Our bus arrived (the flight, however, was delayed, but the day before we were warned about the delay), picked it up and... goodbye Egypt. Everything was organized at the airport, quickly. Atlant Soyuz flew back. It went well too.
Don't hesitate - the hotel is good. Without pathos, noise-din. Those who know how to rest will rest. The one who knows how to be indignant will be indignant. Remember, a good mood and a smile solves many problems. Don't worry, relax!! !
