But ...our group of 56 people arrived in the morning, there were problems with the settlement, it immediately became clear that they "did not wait" for us and settled from the beginning at 8 almost to 14. It was not just a trip, it was kind of Dollars for the first three days have changed almost nothing, towels under his feet appeared once every three days, in the other "our" never, apparently we put little. At the bar we were surprised that we owed them something. And the most interesting thing was the day we left, when we were being chased to cut bracelets.
I explained that I only needed a fragment with the letter "N" for the collage, to which I received a rough answer "will you go without the grandmother going? ". I was embarrassed, because others had already told us that if it was a late flight, we were not entitled to lunch and had to pay. My daughter and her homeland were on vacation this spring in Hurghada and they left at 5.30 pm, they left the hotel at 3 pm, had lunch in front of the bus, and no one tore the bracelets from their hands.
Maybe I'll come again, but no one will see the kindness in the form of "van dollar" from me, because when you're without a bracelet, you are already looked at differently and the bar will get only one coffee, then you will wait for the bus.
.
Criticism is not just a statement, it is a desire to change for the better.
And now the cons. Firstly, it is impossible to enter from the shore - solid stones. If you want to swim you have to go to the neighboring hotel about 2 km.
Secondly, there are a lot of questions about the service! Cleaning in the room is terrible: towels are not changed, the floor is not washed, forget about swans from towels, and the treasured dollar does not change anything. The waiters at the bars work in economy mode like sleepy flies. Free wi-fi is just for show, Facebook is enough, but no more, and every day there is a technical break from lunch to dinner.
If you have a late return flight when checking out, be prepared to pay for lunch ($5 per person). With early check-in with breakfast the same situation.
By the way, the staff has big problems with the Russian language, although I understand that they are not obliged to. So knowledge of English is welcome.
Great hotel to eat well and lie by the pool.
Well, I thought, unknowingly, maybe the season of the winds. Then, after observing for a couple of days, it turned out that the height of the waves and the strength of the wind are the same with both red and yellow flags.
With these arguments, I turned to the "rescuer". Like, what's the fun? To which he told me about the waves and the red flag. His English is just primitive and he could not connect two words. After I told him that I'm not blind and I see that the waves are always the same, and therefore this is not an answer, he allowed me and a friend to swim under the red flag. And dumped from the pier for half a day. Other people looked at us and let's swim too. He saw that there were already a lot of people in the sea and it would not be in his favor to shit, outweighed the flag to yellow. Wave height and wind did NOT change.
And so, the "lifeguard" just hung out a red flag every day and slept in a wagon on the pier. I was even more freaked out when his family was still hanging out in that wagon. That is, the dude just didn’t want to work and he hung a red flag for half a day and then in the evening he thought, well, let the dudes swim in the sea a little at sunset, so as not to buzz.
Second. WiFi. The fact that the speed is at the level of modems from the 90s is still so. You can survive. Youtube can only be watched at 144p. Despite the fact that we were lucky and the router was in the room. The cart loaded pictures for hours. The most important joke is that Wi-Fi disappeared EVERY day from about 11-12 pm to 3-4 pm. That is, it was stupidly turned off. And this is not on a specific one router, but throughout the hotel.
The music in the bar is just rubbish. I understand that about half of the clients are Arabs, but mostly some kind of tasteless, miserable thrash house of some local performers plays there. While there are the same cool Egyptian artists like Aly & Fila who do cool trance. But from almost the entire muzla ears withered. Really, the DJ has problems with taste.
I 5 times in Egypt and the first time I listened to such a game. Everywhere there was at least some digestible muzlo.
All sorts of things like a cockroach in the room or queues in the dining room, to be honest, I don’t care much. Not squeamish. I was just listing the things that pissed me off.
Of the pluses, cool coral, grilled food. Gym with good equipment and working air conditioning.
Animation programs in the evening always started with a delay.
I liked the fire show and the acrobat.
The windows in the main restaurant need to be washed!! ! They are all stained and dusty!
There are never enough sunbeds by the pool. For some reason people take sunbeds and do not lie on them!!!
Jupi drink instead of juice.
Ice cream only from 13 to 15 years old, and only one type - chocolate.
The staff is trying hard, but they seem to be failing.
Good bottled beer.
And now about the main thing:
If you like to swim in the sea, then you are not here... There is no entry from the beach! Only from the pier, and there are always huge waves... The red flag hung for 8 days
water, the Ukrainians called it "kopanka".
We are always looking for a positive, and of course it is here - they gave us a room with a sea view (no extra charge)!
The gardener brought bouquets of fragrant flowers.
The room is very spacious, with new furniture and fixtures and beautiful turquoise curtains!
I want to warn vacationers that after 100 meters from the beach towards the hotel "Utopia" in the daytime at 16 o'clock, my friend's phone was taken away. Every day a fisherman sits there, who pulled the phone out of his hands and ran away. The hotel manager said it was our problem.
They wrote a statement to the police, the coast was patrolled in the morning by the military. And the fisherman continues to sit in the same place, everyone knows him, but we did not receive help.
Hotel service is ok. Food at the level of a 3 * hotel (beautiful serving on plates with the same menu. From "sea food" - Chinese pangasius in batter, in soup, in sauce. Meat: grilled chicken and beef. Side dishes: rice, pasta, stewed zucchini Fruits: tangerines, oranges, persimmons). Guests of Arab nationality are served first, even if you have already started to put something on your plate. The staff does not speak Russian even at the reception. The lifeguard Hamed and Mido brightened up our holiday (quad bikes). Who wants to party - you do not need to go here (but I am 62 years old and I could not listen to macarena, lambada and Arabic songs for 15 days).
Yes, they also write that there is a lagoon, but it is only up to the knee, you can only lie down in it. Only people who swim well can swim from the pier.
If an Egyptian family sits on the stairs leading to the sea, you won't budge them. Even though there were 30 people in the hotel, we were given an adjoining room with a door to the next room. It felt like we were living with strangers. There is no soundproofing. The underwater world is wonderful.
We will not return to this hotel.
Expectations were fully justified. The sea is clean, the corals are alive, the fauna is very diverse. In the lagoon (! ) we even saw a parrot fish. The beach is large, sandy, there are enough sunbeds.
We arrived at 8:30 in the morning. Settled immediately, the bracelet was issued at 10:00.
The room is large, clean and very comfortable. Plumbing expensive, in excellent condition. Cleaning every day, change of bed linen on request, towels - every day. Shampoo, soap, hair dryer. Water is given 2 bottles per day, but on the first day you can ask for more. Further - you collect water yourself in any bar or restaurant.
The hotel area is large but compact. Good landscaping, beautiful garden. The garden is lovingly cared for.
The main restaurant has excellent service, the waiters constantly come up and offer something to drink. Wine and beer are of quite acceptable quality, and by the standards of Egypt - good : -).
The food is of average quality, but the choice is unfortunately limited. This is the only negative of the hotel. Wi-fi in the rooms is uninterrupted, but the speed is limited to 0.18 Mbps, which is frankly low. I advise you to buy an Orange card at the airport at the exit - $ 10.16 Gb of traffic, 4G with an average speed of 25 Mbps.
On the way back they gave dry rations, although we fully used all the paid visits to the restaurant. A trifle, but nice.
In general, I liked the hotel very much. The only comment is the lack of variety of dishes in the restaurant.
The food is normal.
Alcohol is local.
Service as elsewhere $ decides.
The sea and the reef are beautiful, pantone 250 meters, but while walking you can see a lot of fish.
There are a couple of lagoons and a long beach.
There is a football stadium.
80% Europeans.
