The first time I visited Egypt, at first I was a little discouraged by the silence that reigned not only in the hotel, but also on the streets of ElGuna. Half-empty streets, scorching heat. Really wrote that the Arena Inn is for a quiet getaway. At first it was boring, but boat trips, swimming in the open sea, contemplation of the underwater world, an excursion to Cairo, a visit to the pyramids of Giza changed my impression.

The hotel conditions are good. The room is clean, daily cleaning, replenishment of the mini-bar, constantly cold and hot water, the shower is excellent. Very tasty cooked, food varied and for every taste. I would especially like to note the guides, who, fluent in Russian, conveyed interesting information to us, tourists.

A wonderful hotel, varied food, considering that we rested only 8 days, somewhere around 7.8 days, it has already become boring. Alcohol is varied and free, delicious red wine is sometimes diluted with water. There is no sea beach nearby, but it does not bother at all, there are free boats and minibuses to the beach, I also liked walking, walking for 15 minutes.

The hotel has a 3-star part and a 4-star part, the latter is located across the road from the main building and is represented by equipment, our friends moved there after the Arabs arranged a dismantling next to their balcony on the first floor. The apartments consist of two rooms and a large terrace, inside everything is very good and comfortable. In general, Elguna is a fabulous place, purely beautiful, the Arabs are modest and smiling. Impressive private villas worth at least $ 1 million with their own slopes to the channels and berths for modern yachts. We went on excursions to Cairo and Hurghada, it takes 6 hours to go to Cairo one way, it’s hard, but the pyramids are worth it, the photos against their background are wonderful. Both Hurghada and Cairo are dirty, the locals live there. Ordinary Egyptians do not live in Elgun, it is too expensive, so you will not see the local flavor there.

I liked it very much! Quiet little hotel full of foreigners. Basically everyone swims in the pool, the beach is almost empty. The food is varied, lots of fruit. The restaurant stands on stilts right on the seashore. You can go to the beach by a hotel minibus or boat, if by boat, you need to go through the Sultan Bay hotel.

On the beach, the bar is all inclusive, except for alcohol. The hotel has a bar with alcohol, but there is very, very little variety of alcohol. We went on a trip to Luxor. I liked it very much. The only BUT: when we were picked up from the hotel on an excursion, we paid an additional 13 USD. per person (Company Tour Tess).

I liked it very much. Good quality varied food, a lot of different fruits, a pleasant, although not large, room, a green, small, neat hotel. Heated pool. Service is top notch. Mostly pensioners have a rest, there are no Russians, so no one understands Russian. The hotel is practically without flaws - a solid three-ruble note.

The first days were lying in the room - slept off, then went for a walk along El Gouna. It is very interesting in the Marina (you can walk in 15 minutes or take a tuk-tuk). It’s very beautiful there: yacht parking from simple to chic, various cute cafes, wicker chairs, tables, sofas, hookahs, everything is licked, neat, just like in Nice, or maybe better : ). Very unlike themselves, polite and helpful Arabs, because only foreigners rest there, very few Russians. You can walk around the territory of any hotel.
The sea in December was cold, strong wind, no one swam. Although at the same time in Hurghada and Safaga everyone was swimming. So winter is not the season here. But there are few people and everything is cheap: coffee in a cafe on the shore of the lagoon with a view of the yachts is a maximum of 8 pounds, a hookah 6-10 pounds, for 10 with a performance - a hookah man in a Bedouin outfit prepared a hookah in an entourage, twisted a smoking-room over their heads and patiently took pictures with us ( open cafe in the Marina, at the very end, near the beach).
In general, in El Gouna and in the hotel in particular, the Arabs are quieter than water, lower than the grass, no one presses, mutters after, and does not hint at a tip. For this, we fell in love with them and gave them shares, as a result of which they also fell in love with us.
I must say that the Arena Inn is a very intelligent hotel, we left in the evening, at 12-00 we didn’t cut off the bracelets, they poured it in the bar, I think they would have given us a meal, but we didn’t become impudent. Extending the room from 12 to 18 costs 4 euros per nose, plus 6 euros for meals. I was pleasantly surprised by Pegasus, everything was on time, they didn’t impose excursions, they issued a map of El Gouna with a schedule of discos and other events. I recommend the hotel, El Gouna - super!
