To be honest, even the lazy to write about this hotel want to write a lot of good things about Dahab itself. But maybe my review will help someone, because when choosing hotels I focus on reviews. I try to be objective.
I went on vacation with a friend. We decided to visit Dahab because we love snorkeling, diving and really wanted to try windsurfing.
The hotel was chosen as the best value for money in the economy segment (because there is no opportunity to buy cheap flights from Kiev, we decided to take a package tour).
Check-in was normal given that it was late at night. Sonya's receptionist meditated for a long time in front of the computer in a stuffy and dark hall, but after 20 minutes. we wore bracelets and everything went smoothly.
The hotel liked the special calm and leisurely atmosphere, it has its own charm (compared to 5 *, 4 * Sharma at first it's a little surprising, but we knew where we were going).

Territory hotel area is normal, yes - killed palm trees and little greenery, no changing rooms and toilets on the beach, but the shower is and works. The pools are very dirty and we neglected to even touch the water. .
The reef is very beautiful with live corals and lots of animals, the waves are quite strong even compared to the neighboring Tropitel, I recommend taking flippers. The pontoon is normal, you can go to the next hotel and from the pontoon Tropitel to swim to the dive site Canyon, no one forbids it. The beauty of the underwater world in Dahab overshadows all possible flaws.
About the shortcomings of the room and hotel:
The first thing you pay attention to is the dirty glass walls in the lobby and the reception, everything is washed symbolically (then you stop noticing).
Rooms are normal, but one out of a dozen worked with sockets, it's a pity that the plug of my professional hair dryer burned, and then the stationary plug: -)), we got a broken refrigerator with a melted plug, went in turn to see all hotel staff, so no one and did not change : )))
By the way, the approach to the staff there is special, today it is the manager at the reception, tomorrow the bartender, and in the evening the duty officer at the gate, but the guys are quite nice and polite. Houseman, who climbed into the room, behaved illegally, was impudent, said completely obscene things, spread his arms, had to force out of the room. Towels were changed once, but they smelled suspicious and did not look clean.
Food - no delicacies, a huge drawback - the lack of yogurt and sauces. And do not stay hungry, but do not expect special variety.
We ate there infrequently, as we spent very little time in the hotel and preferred to try something from the local food, delicious falafel can be purchased in the central square, as well as inexpensive fruit. (show where any taxi driver can do it. Next time I would choose a powerless system at this hotel.

From my personal subjective impressions - you can take a taxi anywhere, cheap, not scary and any taxi driver offers you a tour program. We came across a boy who turned out to be a great guide (although we barely left him on the 3rd day) and for the price of a taxi we visited the most beautiful places in Dahab, he advised an inexpensive windsurfing instructor and we had a great day in the Lagoon.
Of the diving centers, I can recommend the Octopus World Dahab Diving Center, which is located on the waterfront, almost opposite the Shark restaurant, excellent staff, the best impressions of the dive, is a Russian-speaking instructor Natasha.
Seafood was eaten at the Friends restaurant, coffee and fresh fruit were drunk everywhere and there were no stomach problems. .
Shopping was done in the famous Gazala supermarket.
By the way, Dahab is the first place in Egypt, where it is more convenient to change money and not pay in dollars, because they often can not find a surrender.
I will return to Dahab, no doubt, or return to the hotel, only if there is no opportunity to buy tickets and rent an apartment.
