sea tale
Rest turned out great, but there are still disadvantages. The first disadvantage is that we (Ukrainian and Russian tourists) arrive in Sharm el-Sheikh, and not immediately in Taba, like many foreign tourists, that is, we spend another + 4 hours on the road to the hotel. It's a shame, of course, that the place of residence even here played a role. The second negative is that the tour operator in the hotel ("Pegas") offers excursions at very high prices, especially for excursions to Israel and Petra. For example, a 1-day excursion to Israel from "Pegasa" costs $190, and from a local operator - $90. And with a local tour operator, in addition to Jerusalem and Bethlehem, you can also see Palestine (the tour time is the same for both locals and Pegasa) !! ! The third minus is the food at the hotel. Of course, there are a lot of them, but almost every day is the same. Staying hungry is simply impossible. But, in my opinion, such dishes as pasta, potatoes, meat for breakfast are too much. There was not always enough fruit, especially for dinner - I missed watermelons. And I also didn’t like the fact that the juices were diluted with water - it happened rarely, but they immediately felt the difference. That's all the cons. But they did not spoil the overall picture of the holiday. . We rested at the Hilton Taba Resort & Nelson Village, in the main 10-story building. The hotel is super: the hotel area is just huge, a lot of greenery, cool rooms, a wonderful pool; The staff is very attentive and friendly - it is clear that they value their work. Very convenient location of the hotel for those who want to visit Israel. After opening a visa, you can freely stay in Eilat. There you can visit the water area and just walk through the shops. Now about swimming. You can find your own sandy beach, free sun loungers and mattresses at any time, there are no problems with towels - swim, sunbathe as much as you like. The water is fabulous, the color changed three times a day. Swimming in it is a pleasure! In the evening, while walking, one could see the lights of the two borders of Jordan and Saudi Arabia. In addition to walking tours in the evening in the hotel bar, you could listen to live music and participate in various entertainment programs. During the day, you could play tennis and table tennis, beach volleyball, do water aerobics, and yoga. Excursions deserve special attention. . The first for me was an excursion to Mount Moses. Unforgettable impressions were left from climbing to the top of the mountain and meeting the dawn. For me, climbing is just fun. It lasted 3 hours, no special effort was required. But everything that happened after climbing the mountain is simply beyond words - very, very beautiful!! ! After meeting the dawn, there was a descent, breakfast and a visit to St. Catherine's Cathedral. The duration of the tour is 15 hours, including the road in both directions. The cost is $40 ("Pegas"). The second excursion is Cairo. A very interesting city. In it we visited the National Museum and made a boat trip along the Nile on a boat. But remember, of course, the pyramids at Giza. After the pyramids, we visited a perfume and jewelry store, as well as a store where papyrus is made and sold. The duration of the tour is 22 hours. The cost is $79. The third excursion - Israel + Jordan. The tour is fascinating because we wander around Petra, visit holy places and swim in the Dead Sea. It’s hard to call it swimming, since the water is very salty (33%) and you just don’t have to swim, but the sensations are super. Prices in a store that sells Dead Sea cosmetics are higher than when buying online or in any other store that sells more than just cosmetics. The duration of the tour is 2 days. The cost of the tour is $370. On this I would like to end my story and wish everyone a pleasant stay.
