The hotel is very decent. He has only three conditional shortcomings, I will say about them right away, because everything else in the hotel is excellent.

1. There are several bus stops from it to the Old Town, which by the standards of Tallinn is a bit out of the way.
The hotel is on the way to the airport (after the Ulemiste stop, the next one is Airport). But this is not because the hotel is far away. Just close to the airport
There are two buses to the city. One regular number 2 (every 15-20 minutes), the second 90K, which runs every half an hour (on "exactly" and "half"), costs 2 euros, and goes around the Old Town (including the railway station, bus station).
At the stop "Zhd vokzal" it is convenient to get off to enter the Old Town and go down it from top to bottom.
Bus number 2 runs from the city towards the hotel until about 23-30 on weekdays.
You can sit on it near the Viru Shopping Center (for example)
Or near terminal D - where ferries depart / arrive from Helsinki.

2. The hotel does not open windows at all. they are simply not there.
one of the walls of the room is simply glazed from floor to ceiling. But, of course, there is forced ventilation and plus air conditioning.
To be honest, the remoteness of the hotel did not particularly negatively affect us. But the fact that the windows do not open - a little annoying.
Anyway, I'm glad we were only there 1 night and not 2.
It is not at all clear what the architect was thinking. Apparently only about design.

3. there is no wifi in the rooms. only in the lobby. And for the Internet in the room they give out a wire (also free of charge). We were unable to connect by wire. Used in the lobby - quite smart Wi-Fi.

Everything, the negative is over)). Now for the positive.

Opposite the hotel is Lake Ulemiste, but unfortunately there are no rooms with a view of the lake. It's a pity.
Literally 70-100 meters from the hotel is a large shopping center Ulemiste, when you drive from the city - it is on the left. As soon as you pass it - the hotel.
Despite the fact that the hotel is located near the highway, it is not noisy at all, well, that is, in general, complete silence and you can sleep perfectly.
The airport is also nearby. But he is neither seen nor heard. Planes do not fly over the hotel.

The room is all striped, beige / brown, in the style of zebrano.
There is a shower in the bathroom, it is, of course, a bit small, with a curtain, but overall nothing.
Our bed was queen size, comfortable.
There is a TV, but for some reason there were no Russian channels, although there are Russian ones in the hotel.
There is a huge glass wall in the hotel lobby and at the exit there is a fountain, greenery, a lake somewhere far away.
In general, it is very pleasant to sit in the hall both during the day and in the evening, the sofas are comfortable.
The breakfast is very good. Porridge, cuts, vegetables, vegetable salad, sausages, scrambled eggs, something else, coffee tea, fruit, watermelon.
The cafeteria is nice too. You can sit outside in wicker chairs

Bus stop 20 steps from the hotel. There is a timetable.

The hotel was found by chance.
We needed a hotel for 1-2 days tomorrow.
Booking. com and all other systems offered hotels at some completely strange prices from 100 euros, or creepy hostels for 25-40 euros. And we stumbled upon the site compare. hotels. su
He is not only Russian-speaking, but also looking for a whole bunch of booking systems. The cheapest hotel was on Skoosh. com 71 euro
Photos and descriptions were good. Reviews on the Internet seem to be generally nothing.
There were no better options for that day, and we booked it (there is not a reservation, but the payment of a voucher immediately, when you check-in and check-out you don’t have to pay money, respectively)

At the reception and other staff - all speak Russian.

Summary:
An excellent hotel for those who arrive in Tallinn. Two minutes from the airport.
Taking into account the fact that the 2nd bus goes to the hotel directly from the Tallink terminal, it is also quite convenient if there are no options to settle in the city.
In general, for 1-2 days - this is an excellent option, in the absence of alternatives in the city.

Ulemiste Hotel, Tallinn (Aug 2011)
Hotel rating: (Very good - would recommend)

the only problem is that windows don't open at all.
but there is air conditioner.
and no wifi in rooms (only by lan). but wifi is in public zones
good breakfast.
friendly reception.
nice hall.
a little bit far from old town, but bus 90k goes every 30-min to the AIRPORT-ULEMISTE-BUS/STATION-OLDTOWN-RAILWAYst
And so on. It is better to go to RAILWAYstation-and get out from bus there and go to the Old town. Thats how you will go down the old city
And also there is bus N2 (every 15 min) - goes to VIRU and Terminal-D Tallink.
Right near the hotel - there is a big TRADING CENTER with a lot of shops.
We stayed in the hotel for 70+ euros 1 night.
Except windows - it was fine!
