We were in the Dominican Republic for the first time 10 years ago and our acquaintance with the Caribbean began from this hotel. Before the reconstruction in 2013, it was called Carabella, but in principle, little has changed in it, the rebranding was absolutely planned, as is customary in this network. After our first trip, we returned to the Dominican Republic several times to hotels of a different class, but a special offer fell out to the Dominican Republic at an attractive price, we saw that it was Vista Sol and decided to remember our youth, fly for 9 days. We purchased air tickets on our own, the direction was studied, our friends 2 bananas met us, from whom we order transfers and excursions every time we are in Punta Cana and we already joke that during this time we have become like relatives. We were met, like 10 years ago, by friendly administrators and peacocks, which are in abundance here. We settled in a two-story house, the room is decorated in rich green colors overlooking the beach, and a cozy wicker balcony. The room is quite modest. but with everything you need to relax, and of course, the conditions are not at all spartan. The territory is very well-groomed, navigation is convenient, everything is close and nearby, you don’t need to wait for any transport to get from point A to point B, three pools, in the main floating bar, for a couple of dollars the waiters will prepare masterpieces for you. The music is very pleasant, relaxing in the background, it sets you up for a calm and measured rest. The atmosphere in the hotel is serenity, the day lasts long and at the same time is full, not boring. This is what you need when you want to escape from the rhythm of the big city. Couples with children are also enough, they did not cause any discomfort, we all quickly got to know each other. as on our first visit, and in the evenings we gathered together in the theater for evening performances. Nothing works here at night, guests relax, except that individual companies periodically gather by the pool and chat, peace and quiet. The food also has not changed much, the set is standard and repetitive, however: there has always been caprese, a lot of vegetables, olives, meat, fish, side dishes. Of course, this is often repeated, but if we compare the quality of food and the level of service with the price of accommodation, then everything is very, very good. . There are still several restaurants to choose from, the surroundings change, the angle of view on delicious meat is also good, rum in the Dominican Republic is a priori good, so I didn’t see any reason to be upset : ) There is a good sports bar with beer and snacks, and large screens showing current events in the world of sports. You can take a walk to Plaza Turkes, it's literally a few minutes walk from the hotel, where there are a lot of restaurants and bars, in case you suddenly want something like that. The location of the hotel is very good in this regard. The beach is still good, the Canadians are still beating ours in volleyball, the sun loungers have become more comfortable, they used to be very unpretentious. In general, the impressions of your stay are only positive, if your priorities are directed towards a calm and measured rest in a hotel with a visit to a large number of excursions or even without them, if you are not chasing all the “luhari”, but are looking for adequate conditions for an affordable price then you will like the hotel
