I stipulate in advance that I do not belong to that category of dissatisfied tourists who see only minuses. This was my first trip to the Dominican Republic. I chose this hotel because it seemed to me colorful and smaller in relation to other offers, I do not like too big hotels. In the assessment I chose "9" not because the hotel does not pull higher. In any case, this four-star hotel is much better than Turkish 5 * +, I can say this with confidence. I flew to the Dominican Republic on a direct Aeroflot flight, no complaints. The host of Lanta-tur and Travel-service also did not cause any complaints, there was a comfortable transfer without a hitch. They warned that they might not be able to check into the hotel immediately, since the check-in time is at 12 or 13 o’clock, however, upon arrival at the hotel at 10 o’clock, I was already given a pre-prepared envelope with a key and other amenities such as a hotel map, entertainment schedules and the work of all restaurants and bars, other hotel facilities. The hotel consists of two parts, stretched towards the road. The reception is located in the part closest to the ocean, it is smaller, I was settled in this part, which suited me, 5 minutes to the ocean, it can be seen from the balcony of the room, but this was not the key for me. In this part of the hotel, which was important for me, the main movement is concentrated - the reception with a lobby bar and a shop, a sports bar, a disco, a gym. In this part of the hotel there are two swimming pools, a snack bar, a pool bar, a beach bar. In short, the main mover. But living here is not suitable for those people who love peace and quiet, for them - the second side of the hotel. A tram runs on the other side of the reception, which smiled, there are real bus stops with palm roofs, and there are many of them, the tram will bring you to any object on the other side. I visited there in the last days when I met a tourist who lived there. There is silence, two large pools, a lot of greenery, a mini-reception, in short, you can also live. And the bar is just right inside the pool.
My room suited me, I repeat, I rest without complaints in principle. Cleaned clean, daily, with the maid in general, we somehow liked each other, and she was ready to do more than she was obliged, and completely disinterestedly. Maybe it was my meager tip - $1 a day - that did the trick, but I liked that attitude. The rooms in the hotel are different, more often this is due to which are newer, which are better. But I have no complaints. Any problems related to accommodation (for example, my air conditioner was weakly cold) were resolved immediately through managers. The food at the hotel is normal, there was always fish and chicken (I don’t like meat), though not very varied, still 4 stars, but it didn’t bother me - they fed me like for slaughter. There were so many fruits and such that I didn’t even remember the names of all, and I have never tried such delicious pineapples in my life! The animation team is just super - such energizing boys, and they worked hours from 8 am to 2 am. They worked all the time. And with them it was possible not only to have fun, but also to talk on various topics. As for talking - those who do not know Spanish or English have nothing to do there, the staff is not Russian-speaking, but I did not experience any difficulties with my average English, and I avoided Russian tourists, communicated with foreigners. Foreign tourists and absolutely all the staff are friendly smiling people. It's nice. With Travel-service I was on three excursions "O. Saona", "Deep" and "Santo Domingo", I was satisfied with the guides, to be honest, these are the best guides in my life. Traveling girls who want to try closer communication with the local male population, I will answer separately in private. In general, I was satisfied with the rest. If it wasn't so expensive for my wallet, I would say that I will never return to Turkey and Egypt again. I fell in love with the Dominican Republic with all my heart!
