I can't understand the completely unfair reviews about this hotel. I decided to leave my opinion, especially after reading the last negative reviews. The beach was beautiful, the staff was polite, the food was excellent, but the fact that you just had no luck with the weather will not complain to the heavenly office))). Now in more detail about every aspect of our holiday. We rested at the hotel in early November, we did not find the repair of the pool and showers, so the rest turned out to be just wonderful. I want to start with a description of the beach. First of all, it is the ocean, and the presence of waves is quite natural, and I can’t understand how this relates to the hotel. The beach is gorgeous, the sunbeds are in the shade of palm trees, and it was easy to find a free one at any time. The sand is white and pleasant for walking barefoot)). Yes, the waves were big, it's still the ocean, but it even gave some special excitement and sometimes even took your breath away. When there were very big waves, we spent time in the pool with great pleasure, in the shallower one there is a jacuzzi area, and in the deep one we swam a couple of times. This is exactly what we wanted from the trip, and the cost of the hotel was not great for such gorgeous views. The territory is not very big, but very green, well-groomed. Picturesque paths, islands with palm trees in the pool, decorative wooden bridges, fountains, very nice, especially with evening illumination. The food is excellent, in addition to the main restaurant, several A la carte restaurants by appointment. We liked the fish and Japanese, the dishes in them were different from the main restaurant. We went to everything, just for the sake of interest, especially since the main restaurant was more than enough, it’s just not realistic to try everything. Seafood every day, excellent grilled shrimp on weekends, a large selection of fruits and especially delicious pineapples. Several types of fresh juices, a large selection of meats and several types of poultry, just a huge number of vegetables with different dressings, they made different mixes for themselves every day, but you just can’t count everything. I can’t even imagine how you can say that there was nothing to eat. Folks, you have a chef from a Michelin restaurant living in your house, then what are you doing in a 4 star hotel? : ) There are just too many bars, and drinks of excellent quality in any of them. Animation is in English and Spanish, but we've only been to merengue and bachata masterclasses a few times. Most of the time spent sunbathing and swimming. We got a room in the first building overlooking the pool and a piece of the ocean. Cleaning is good, and what else do you need. The furniture, although not the first freshness, is comfortable. And then in the room we only slept and took a shower. Upset by the lack of WI-FI, and at the reception it is very weak. If you buy, it turns out to be very expensive, we decided that this is a sign and you just need to relax)). Service is slow, but in the Dominican Republic you should not expect anything else. So just enjoy nature and delicious food and everything will be great!! !
