welcomed spring in the Dominican Republic
The choice of the country was not accidental. My husband always has a vacation in March, so there are not so many places where you can swim and sunbathe. so, fearing a long flight, we still bought a ticket to the Dominican Republic. Iberostar Bavaro hotel. We flew with Aeroflot, a direct flight, so there were no delays. especially want to say about the plane itself. my husband and I are quite tall, so the thought of having to sit in a chair with narrow aisles for 12 hours was terrifying. but --- everything was very good, I had enough space to stretch my legs at the window, my husband - into the aisle. for some reason, the plane was almost empty, and the people who were sitting in rows of 4 seats turned out to be in a very advantageous position - they simply lay down on all 4 seats with their legs stretched out. the monitors worked, the selection of films is pretty good. Arrived on time, quickly passed the control, received the luggage.
now about the hotel - this is a fairy tale, everything is very high level, drinks that are not scary to drink, food that does not make you sick, staff that constantly sings. and of course the ocean is generally a miracle, upon arrival there were a few waves, then calmed down. The water has always been very warm. and in general the climate is very good there - there is neither suffocating heat nor the coolness of the evening. it was very, very comfortable.
food in the main restaurant is very decent, edible soups for lunch, traditional morning snacks - cheese, sausage, pastries. for lunch everyone goes to the beach, there is a grill and the choice of dishes is more interesting, for dinner - either a la carte, or the main restaurant. I share information - you should definitely go to a fish restaurant and order dorado in salt. Guys, this is something! delicious. in African, you should not go to sushi. The main restaurant tastes better. on Fridays they serve piglet and lobster. very tasty too.
for entertainment. all the animation is in spanish and some in english, we didn't really like it, because we didn't understand anything what they were saying. dancing, making fun - for an amateur, but the evening show is very late - at 21.30. we stayed a few times, but not particularly impressed
in the room - everything is very reasonable, they are cleaned 2 times a day, which was very surprising.
We went on a tour only to Manati Park. I didn’t like it, you shouldn’t spend days on it at all, but the neighbors liked flying to Samana - it’s true that you need to fly for 40 minutes on small planes that just chatter in the sky. if you want extreme sports, then go there, they even saw whales.
