When I wrote a review about the Dominican Republic, I completely forgot to write about what worries many tourists - about mobile communications. It's there, very good quality! Orange network. A call to Ukraine cost about 43 cents (at a time when an outgoing call from the Kyivstar network was UAH 30 per minute, and only contract subscribers have roaming). But as our guide told us, the card of this network should be bought by those who are going to talk a lot. The fact is that SIM cards are sold only in one shopping center and you need to go to it by taxi. We lived in Puta Kan and the estimated fare was 20 USD. one way. Accordingly, the cost of the card is very even nothing! But, maybe you are lucky and you will live somewhere near this shopping center (I don’t remember, unfortunately, its name)? By the way, we were very lucky, because our guide had an extra SIM card, which someone nevertheless bought and left for him when he left. : ) Therefore, be sure to ask!! ! Suddenly lucky? ; )

The only thing you need to get used to and immediately warn those whom you will call that you, where you call, will be heard with a 5-second delay. And so there are no more complaints about the connection!

Have a nice rest and communication!
