Food in restaurants is hearty and varied: seafood, meat, an abundance of salads and fruits always. The hotel offered us a choice of excursions, we naturally wanted to visit the filming location of the Blue Lagoon-Saona, but read reviews on the Internet and realized that as a rule there is not enough time to enjoy the beauties of the lagoon in group tours, we took an individual tour of 2 bananas, these are local "pirates ", as the agencies are called, which work outside the hotel. To our joy, they didn’t fail, the Russian guys, Masha worked with us, we drove a great new SUV, and they even played music for us on request, they told a lot of interesting tricks about the Dominican Republic, legends and stories, and we rested away from the main tour stream , ate freshly cooked lobster, were completely delighted. By the way, we did not find lobsters in our hotel, so we did not regret that we tried it. Another feature of the Dominican Republic is that they know how to make incredible coffee here, I have never been fond of this drink before, but returned as a coffee lover.
