Copenhagen is quite an expensive city and it is quite difficult to find a hotel of a normal level and at an affordable price there. When I tried to find a suitable hotel through Bookin Kom, I was offered either wildly expensive options or arch-cheap bunkhouses with amenities in the hallway.
Against the backdrop of these bunkhouses, the Cabinn Metro hotel stood out. 2 stars. As it turned out, despite its very low cost, the hotel has a lot of pluses, although there were certainly enough minuses.
The rooms in the hotel are called cabins and the cheapest option = this is the “Economy” cabin. Tiny room with a bunk bed. A little higher class is the cabin “Standard. ” Since Bookin Kom did not give a photo of this cabin, but wrote that there are rooms with double beds, then I ordered it. It turned out in vain. The room also had a bunk bed. When I asked at the reception - “where is the promised double bad?
”, I was told that there was no mistake, but you just need to pull an extra bed from under the bottom shelf. As a result, I paid extra and took the cabin of the beauty “Commodore”. She is also tiny, but at least there is a familiar bed. There are also captain's cabins, but it makes no sense to order them, because at a price they are close to higher-class hotel rooms.
Cons of Cabin Metro.
Settled on the outskirts. You can only go to a huge, relatively inexpensive, shopping center, where there are all sorts of cafes. Or you can go for a walk in the woods.
Tiny rooms. On the edge of reason
Small, inconveniently placed windows.
Paid parking. ( 100 DKK)
There is no Russian channel on TV.
The reception is combined with the bar. So, if you want to have a quick drink, you can wait 20 minutes until a group of Japanese tourists check in.
Uncomfortable bathroom. The toilet is partly under the sink. Shower (no hose) partly above it.
Pros.
Price.
Design.
Purity and novelty.
Free good wi-fi.
Near metro station and railway station.
The room has a kettle and free sugar, tea and cups.
Cheap breakfasts (70 DKK)
View from the window.
Near the autobahn and easy to leave the city by car.
Near the airport. By taxi 5 minutes (150 DKK), by metro 7 (24 DCC) on foot 20 minutes.
Coffee at reception 20 DCC. And sometimes even for free.
Very pleasant and varied contingent of guests. From a Norwegian hippie to a respectable official from the Vienna office of UNICEF. Everyone greets, treats with cigarettes and communicate.
And the most important thing! ! ! ! Wow! ! ! ! You will not believe!!!!!! ! ! ! Anbelivebl!!!!! ! !
No need to take the IRON!!! ! ! ! There is (on the technical stairs) an ironing corner with free irons.
