When I chose a sanatorium in the Czech Republic where to undergo a course of treatment, I was guided by the reviews of people. I found only 4 reviews for Teplitz. After the trip, I will say that Turpravda correctly informs about the direction of the resort. I have already been treated 4 times in the Czech Republic. 2 times in Karlovy Vary, 2 times in Marianske Lazne. The hotels were both 4 and 3 stars. I can compare. If you do not have serious problems with the musculoskeletal system, go to Karlovy Vary. It is more beautiful, livelier, warmer in the off-season, there are many excursions and you can relax cheaper, all other things being equal. We liked the Beethoven Hotel. True, the rooms and corridors were cool. Excellent warm pool (35 degrees). Doctors are available, consulted, wrote out prescriptions, replaced procedures without problems. There are many procedures 4-5 per day. In a nearby sanatorium there is a clinic where I took an x-ray, consulted an orthopedist, and made an intra-articular injection. It is paid, but cheaper than in our city. Bottom line: you need to go there TO BE TREATED, and preferably in the SUMMER (it's good to walk in the park). About nutrition. The breakfasts are good, everything is there, but you can’t linger, there’s not enough delicious. Mostly very elderly Germans and Czechs were treated with us, but with a good appetite. Dinners were not very good. Choice of 5 dishes, but diet meals are vegetarian only. In Karlovy and Mariana, I liked the food more. Tours were a problem. Canceled, did not recruit groups. There are only 4 sanatoriums in Teplice, and many of them have sore legs. I consider the trip useful (despite the fact that I caught a cold), I will go here again if I can’t move easily, and only in the summer. By the way, people on crutches and wheelchairs are the norm here and they are comfortable. And for some reason, a lot of Arabs are being treated. There are not many Russians. The staff does not understand Russian, but the doctors speak.
