You can get from Ruzyne Airport by yourself and not spend money on a transfer, especially if you arrived in the morning, and check-in is only from 14.00. From the terminal, take bus number 100 and you need to get to the Andel metro station, from there take tram number 10 or number 9 directly to the hotel. If you do not have a guide, I advise you to buy a map of Prague with sights and see everything yourself. It takes 2 hours to get to Karlovy Vary from Prague, a bus ticket costs 140-150 kroons. Buses depart from the Florence bus station. You can bring Becherovka liqueur, all kinds of Bohemian glass products, local waffles with different fillings as a souvenir, they call them oplatki. It is customary to leave a tip in cafes and restaurants, 10% of the order.
