Notes of a beginner hawker. Note number 3. Prague postcard
Previous Notes:
Note No. 1. Introductory Practice
As I mentioned in previous notes, we did not experience any special zeal forPrague. For us, it was just a beaten-up popular, ordinary tourist place. Yes, we were not there, but we heard so much about her. Therefore, probably, even with a certain degree of distrust, they went to this city - but is this Prague…
really so good?St. Ludmila's Cathedral in Vinohrady
Oh, good, charmer!
Of course, crowds of admiring people like us are tiring. But what to do. . . Well, the star - it shines for everyone : )).
And so that only for you - this feat must be accomplished in the form of an early rise, for example. But there is no heroism in our character, it happens, sometimes, a share of masochism is manifested : )). We can only climb somewhere higher, be it a tower, a fortress, a hill, in order to see more and further away. Such events have already become an obligatory item in the program for the development of new cities for us.
Of the great number of Prague towers, I chose the tower Old Town Hall. Firstly, Old Town Square is a mandatory item for any tourist, especially for a beginner. But the beer is oh-oh-very expensive, especially in front of D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B5_%D0%BA%D1%83%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%BD%D1%82%D1%8B" target="_blank">Orloem (Prague Astronomical Clock).
Secondly, for 250 crowns you can see the internal exposition of the town hall. . .
. . . look at the apostles Orloy and all mechanism on the reverse side. . .
. . . and even go down into the dungeon - according to descriptions and reviews, a curious place. But here is a caveat: you can do this only with a guided tour, it is included in the ticket price. Tours are held every hour in different languages, in Russian then it was not. The schedule is subject to change, please refer to the website, or at the checkout. On the day of our visit, the nearest one was the French one. But by that time we had already examined everything, and the dungeon was the final stage of the tour. It was already lazy to walk around the halls again, and even in linguistic ignorance.
As they say, there is a reason to return : )).
And thirdly, you can climb the tower by elevator, which is undoubtedly a nice bonus after many kilometers of walking.
And we went down already on such a stepless descent:
My husband wanted to jump into the elevator, but I didn't let him, I had to try all the ways. Yes, and we need to check if we can squeeze through this hole with a traffic light : )
By the way, about holes and crevices and other bottlenecks with traffic lights. . . Naturally, as the most disciplined tourists, we checked in and got on Instagram on the narrowest street with a traffic light - Vinarna Chertovka.
Well, this husband already wanted to check whether he could squeeze through or not. Weakling, grow him more and grow,
still a lot of shank to eat : )).
That's what kind of tourists we are, call any gap a landmark, we are happy to climb there : ))
And there? It's just a restaurant, which you can't find without this traffic light. . . Great idea!
Oh, distracted, we climbed the tower. Here is Prague at our feet!
Actually, you can look down on Prague from a lot of places. In Vysehrad we arrived in the dark. Everything is as usual: we got on the tram, drove through the desired stop, then MAPS. ME by goat paths led-led, all up and up, along some private Sekorovsky wilds, and led. And now it shines, and only for us!
Schematic designation of bridges, which, apparently, are visible from this point. But during the day : )
Eh, it didn't happen to visit during the day. In fact, Visegrad was not planned for this trip. Therefore, there was no prepared route. Or rather, not like that: I would really like to go there, it really reminded me of the descriptions and photos of my favorite Saint George's Castle in Lisbon. But since the husband was the customer for this trip, his wishes were taken into account first of all, and Vyshegrad was not listed there. Well, the route of our walkers was not laid there. And here - whoops! “It’s still light outside, but there’s nothing to do today. So I fussed, they say, there’s just nothing on the map (from the “dancing” house).
Next time I will definitely repeat my visit to Visegrad.
So there is one more notch left for the next visit to Prague : )).
