Golden autumn in the Czech Republic!
Golden autumn in the Czech Republic!
Prague - Marianske Lazne - Karlovy Vary
The time of the New Year holidays has passed, it's time to finish the last review of the autumn trip.
When for the rest of my vacation I offered my husband two places to choose from: Bavaria or the Czech Republic, he chose the Czech Republic, and intensive preparations began for the cruise, after the cruise to Venice and along the way to the Czech Republic. And everything about everything was only 3 weeks, this time was not enough for me to prepare properly, so sometimes we had jambs in the Czech Republic.
I like to travel by car, I have the opportunity to stop wherever you want, plan your time as you want ...etc. The road to the Czech Republic was ordinary, the autobahn is the autobahn, but still the German autobahns are the most convenient for us so far. 3-4 lanes in one direction, many sections have no speed limits, the traffic was not particularly intense, in general, not a ride, but a real pleasure.
But after we crossed the Czech border, this pleasure was no more, speed limits are everywhere. We drove along the Czech autobahns only from the western side, no peculiarities were noticed, neither for the better nor for the worse. Sometimes there was a very good road, sometimes, like on a washboard or there were only patches all around. But this is a common thing for almost any autobahn. But, of course, the only and big minus was the speed limit. Sometimes the road was empty, but you won’t run away too much, you could of course violate it a little, but we don’t know how the traffic police work in the Czech Republic, and what are the fines for speeding, so we had to “lag” like everyone else.
One moment for car travelers: a vignette is needed for the Czech Republic, it is sold everywhere at gas stations before and after the border.
Golden autumn was already in full swing, the trees on the sides of the roads were extraordinarily beautiful, in bright, yellow-red outfits. Delight for the soul, joy for the eyes!
Our new navigator, oddly enough, did not get lost in Prague, immediately led to the right house.
So begins my next review, which this time I post in a new format: text + photos + text....
