I just returned from Prague, I liked the hotel, the rooms are cozy, comfortable, cleaned every day, everything you need at breakfast. ice water right on the roof, beauty. It took about 2 days to find the way bypassing the metro and the steep endless staircase from the hotel. The staff does not speak Russian at all, but also good English. we talked to them, not everyone understands. In principle, when we found the best way to the center, we realized that the rest of the service was not bad. … More ▾ It took about 2 days to find the way bypassing the metro and the steep endless staircase from the hotel. We liked the panorama from the window, down to the railway. you can not look, but then Prague is in full view, especially beautiful at night. There are many entertainments on the territory, but we did not have enough time to visit them, because. only came to sleep. The food is normal for breakfast, it was enough for us. … More ▾ We liked the panorama from the window, down to the railway. you can not look, but then Prague is in full view, especially beautiful at night. The staff is very friendly, but they don't understand Russian. Very clean, change of linen and cleaning is constant. The room we got was small, but cozy with a balcony, TV, refrigerator, hair dryer, everything works. Getting to the center with a transfer, but at first I thought it would take longer, but you can see the life of Prague not only in the center. In general, the hotel itself is no different from 4 stars, we liked it... I rate it 5 for 3 stars...

I just returned from Prague and would like to share my impressions about the hotel. I'll start with the positive: a fairly good repair, simple but very tasteful, the rooms have a minibar, there is a safe, but not in all rooms (so check if this is important for you), the bathroom has everything you need, including a hairdryer (here only there is no shampoo, there was one universal thing for the body, and for hands, and for hair, so bring your own), the room was cleaned every day, towels were changed, I liked breakfast, everyone can find something for themselves (sausages , cheese, potatoes, yoghurts, jam, cereals, pies, sausage, juices, tea, pasta, coffee), not all rooms have a balcony either. … More ▾ I just returned from Prague and would like to share my impressions about the hotel.

the negative is only that which is far from the center. 10-15 minutes to the metro, then to the metro with a transfer. sometimes it was a little stressful, especially when you get cold and you really want to go to a warm bed faster. but if you eat in the summer, then there is nothing to feel good about. And one more thing - beds. double beds simply consist of two mattresses that are not connected. periodically they disperse and this is not very convenient. and my young man's back hurt from these mattresses. some rooms overlook the railway, but if the windows are closed, you can't hear anything. we noticed the noise only on the third day of our stay at the hotel. There is no internet in the rooms.
but in general, I liked the hotel, especially when compared with what my friends who were in other hotels told me. If you are not afraid of the distance from the center, then feel free to choose it.

In general, the rating of the hotel is three with a minus. It definitely doesn't deserve its 4 stars. As the guide explained to us on the bus from the airport: Russian tour operators are just starting to work with this hotel, so she is not ready to answer our questions about accommodation. We were placed late in the evening, and by default they gave a standard double room with one bed (although I was with a friend), the next day we found out that we were not one of the group. And everyone, at the request, was changed to rooms with two beds. You can write about the rooms for a long time: they are VERY small, there is no air conditioning (or Split system at worst) and, as a result, it is incredibly stuffy, you can open the windows, you say, but here again there is a surprise: we (all the poor fellows who find themselves in this hotel) the windows overlooked the railway tracks (three branches), where the movement did not stop even at night and it interferes with sleep very much! Considering that you return to the hotel only to sleep, this is an important minus. The rooms were cleaned disgustingly: we had crumbs on the carpet all week, and right in a conspicuous place. Second: there are no shops around; banal water we poured from the center. Third: it’s not convenient to get to the center by metro, it’s far from the station itself (especially when you come back after the “no legs” excursion), and it’s far from the number of stations (you stand and wonder: will you have enough ticket for 18 kroons - that’s 5 stations, or go for 26). Breakfasts are standard, but if you need to order an early breakfast in a box (for a tour), you need to do this before 7 pm the day before; difficult if you return the day before from an excursion late. In short, all of our from this hotel went on an excursion to Moravia without breakfast. The only plus: this hotel has a swimming pool, i. e. , such a relaxation center: pool + jacuzzi + phyto-sauna, all this for 120 kroons per hour. Perfectly relaxes (i. e. relieves tension). We also saw 2 courts for b. tennis and a small bowling alley with 2 lanes. In general, after talking with people from other hotels, we came to the conclusion that our choice was unsuccessful.

Hotel "STEP" Czech Republic 1. The hotel is not bad in principle, BUT!! ! Climbing a steep iron trek to a height of about 25 meters (in front of the hotel) is not a pleasure. To the subway on foot, with the passage of the stairs for 10-15 minutes. 2. Feeding is average, but you can eat (although having ordered soup for lunch, they brought us soup from a bag with the addition of pieces of meat and pieces of bread "winded" that we did not finish for breakfast! ). … More ▾ Hotel "STEP" Czech Republic

2. Feeding is average, but you can eat (although having ordered soup for lunch, they brought us soup from a bag with the addition of pieces of meat and pieces of bread "winded" that we did not finish for breakfast! ).
3. Service "soviet" - unobtrusive! Although the room was cleaned, the bed was not made and the linen was not changed (we lived for 3 days). Only towels. there was no price list for the minibar in the room (as it turned out, not only with us), for this reason, and indeed, we didn’t use the minibar, but when we left we were billed for 110 kroons for nuts and a MARS bar, which we allegedly ate and they constantly reported to us! !! ! The showdown with the administration only led to the fact that we were accused of eating everything ourselves and not wanting to pay, and that our company should pay for us, and they all work honestly !! ! And we also found out that our maid's name was Christina. I had to pay in order to avoid an international scandal and in order not to detain a group that was already sitting on the bus for departure from the hotel.
PS Some people lost their personal belongings in the hotel. !! ! (albeit on trifles) so I don’t want to go to this hotel anymore and I don’t advise everyone!
Sincerely,
Timonin Andrey Borisovich
