If you are still brought to this hotel:
1. Ask to remove the minibar immediately upon check-in. We got on champagne - upon departure we were told that we drank a bottle of champagne and rudely asked to pay for it ("I'll close the door now if you don't pay for it and I don't care that your plane will fly away without you" - a quote from the hotel manager ). At the same time, you won’t be able to check in advance and subsequently prove anything, because there is no list in the room of what and in what quantity should be in the minibar, that is, what you will be billed for, you can only guess. And judging by the fact that, according to the manager, every day tourists assure him that they didn’t take anything from the minibar and every day there are conflicts due to the fact that something is missing there, then the hotel or the manager earns extra money.
When he was asked to write us a check for the champagne "drunk" to us, his computer immediately broke down. Coincidence?
2. Bring a supply of shampoo, shower gel and soap with you - we went for 10 days and of course there were not enough small buns and a piece of soap for this period. We asked for more at the reception, but it turned out that all this is provided only once upon check-in.
3. The windows of the toilet room overlook a common balcony, so the audibility is excellent, so if you are anxious about privacy at a crucial moment))), then get ready to guard the moment when there are no neighbors on the balcony.
4. get ready for the fact that you will initially be treated like thieves - before you check in, you will be required to make a copy from a plastic card, so that if you drink something, in their opinion, from the minibar, so that they would have the opportunity to write off from you money.
Friends lived with us at the same time in neighboring hotels, but they didn’t encounter such an attitude, and we ourselves rented a suite for a couple of days in another hotel during the same period, because we had a wedding, and in no other countries we have not encountered this ...A very unpleasant impression was left ...
In general, Prague is fabulous! ! ! Just take the choice of a hotel more responsibly than we do so that your impressions of it do not spoil it like that, especially in our experience and the experience of our friends in Prague there are enough hotels that are well located and not expensive and, which is very important, in which tourists are treated as guests, not potential thieves.
