The hotel was chosen for a long time, but found the perfect place for us.
Clean, beautiful, convenient location, staff, PRICE-QUALITY, breakfasts, free Wi-Fi in the rooms, good cleaning, spacious rooms, safe in the room, modern appliances, tea-coffee. It is located within walking distance from many interesting places, such as Wenceslas Square, a brewery, nearby the train station, a folk museum and very close to attractions, as well as shopping centers and shops, souvenir shops and restaurants-bars. All - all side by side.
When ordering a hotel through the website, a transfer from the airport is possible, which is very pleasant and convenient. We went with friends and took 2 rooms, so the transfer turned out to and fro for free.
After all, there are 2 rooms, so everyone should have a transfer, but we can fit in one car. But this must be agreed by mail and in advance.
Moreover, through the site, if you order more and cheaper, there will be a bonus of slippers with a bathrobe, which not all Czech hotels have at all, either for a fee, or not provided at all.
There are no pledges. Two Russian channels.
An umbrella, iron and ironing board will be provided upon request. Anything you want, help and return in everything.
There is a computer on the ground floor, next to it are racks with maps, guidebooks and other newspapers and magazines that may come in handy. Take it, it will help a lot in the future journey.
You should not even take a tour even for 5 euros, you can get around everything yourself, find a guide on the Internet and move around with it and a map. New what is written on the Internet guides will not say.
But if you go to castles or towards other countries, then of course it is better to go with an experienced and knowledgeable driver. What we did, back in Russia, we agreed on a trip to Dresden by mail, the price of the issue was so pleasant that it didn’t even make sense to think about and contact companies that charge 3 times more. Many people are concerned about the question “Where to go to drink beer and have a tasty meal? »
Honestly, I'm not a fan of beer, but there really is a difference, the beer is softer, alcohol is not felt. And so in our city, beer is no worse made at breweries.
I can advise several establishments, and also tell you where you should not even go at all. The farther from the central attractions, the cheaper, I think everyone knows this. But the quality is not worse, and sometimes even better.
1. Restaurant "U Sedleru", located 10 minutes walk from the hotel, we found it by accident.
Address: Karlov no. 17, Prague 2
Large portions, delicious food, reasonable prices.
For example: Pilsner Urquell 0.5 l costs 37 crowns = 59.2 rubles. The goat is the same.
Caesar salad of an unreal portion costs 145 crowns = 232 rubles. Ribs 189 crowns = 303 rubles
They charge 10% service charge. The average check for a couple with beer is 500 - 600 rubles.
2. Restaurant "U Pravdu", walked past for several days and still came in.
Address: Ž itná. 1701/15 (www. upravdu. eu)
Also the portions are large, everything is fast and tasty. Beer 36-37 CZK. An approximate check for two with beer 350-450 kroons = 600-700 rubles. I think it's pretty good for dinner.
They charge 10% service charge if you pay by card. For cash% did not take.
3. I read about this restaurant on one site, the reviews impressed me, I decided to go too. Restaurant "Konirna" their website www. konirna. eu, you can go and see the menu, the situation. Everything is a little more expensive here, but you will enjoy a pleasant environment, delicious food, krusovice with the most delicate taste and helpful staff. So when you go towards St. Vitus Cathedral, be sure to go to this restaurant.
The average check for a couple with beer is 900-1000 rubles.
4. Also not far from the house is "Pivovarsky dum"
Address: Ječ ná. 14, Prague 2
(http://gastroinfo. cz/pivoklub/index. php? content=menu)
A good place, but of course there are too many Russians, right at every table. Many types of beer, you can also go to the site and see everything in detail (menu, atmosphere). Ordered croutons with garlic, brought croutons and garlic cloves side by side. We also tried nettle beer, and wheat beer too.
The prices are reasonable, the dishes are not as big as everyone describes. Dumplings were not impressed, but very satisfying. The average check for a couple with beer is 800-900 rubles.
5. I didn't like the service at the Novomestsky pivovar restaurant. A lot of people, few waiters, everything is casually served, the food is not the most delicious. But there you can take a beer with you if you really want to bring it home. It's not a bad restaurant in itself, there are many halls and the beer is delicious, but the way the service is done just ruined everything.
6.
Restaurant "Braunuv sklep", we were called there by a girl who was standing on the street, she came to Prague from Novosibirsk to live and work.
Address: Karlov no. 24, Prague 1
It is located near the hotel, the prices are too high for beer Master and Pilsner 55 -60 kroons per 0.5 l. = 88-96 rubles.
The situation is so-so, the toilet shocked me in general, especially the tap. But if there is nowhere to sit, and this is possible in the summer, then you can go in and have a bite to eat.
In McDuck there is a paid toilet on Wenceslas Square, which surprised me greatly 5 kroons = 8 rubles.
Of course, there are still many places where we wanted to go, but, unfortunately, not everyone had time, I think that next time we will visit those places that we did not go to.
With regards to stores, discounts from 30 to 70%, you can choose. If you go to Dresden, then there are the most pleasant prices and discounts at this time. The Karstadt store on Prague Square. And the beer tastes better than in Prague, you can also buy it on the lower floor of this store.
Of the Shopping Centers, these are Arkady and Pallady, and you can safely buy even on Wenceslas Square, the same price as in the shopping center, when it's time for sales. There are no winter shoes in Prague, you don’t even have to look, everyone who lives there goes to Austria, Germany or Poland.
It is better to exchange money really with the Arabs (blue sign), one of them is located opposite the Albert supermarket (you can buy groceries) on Wenceslas Square at Jindisska Nove Mesto - Praha 1, after Sephora right away.
Souvenirs can be bought everywhere, prices are about the same everywhere.
I hope my review will help someone decide on places in Prague (I attach the guide), how to spend their day and where to go to eat tasty and high quality. If you have any questions, please contact me, I will answer with pleasure.
