Stayed at the hotel on August 15-19.2008. The descriptions and photos presented on the Internet, with certain reservations, almost correspond to the real ones. Of course, there are no flowers and the photos were taken in very favorable angles, for example, the view of the courtyard looks good, but in fact it is only in one direction, and if you look around, the courtyard is a well with two walls to the height of the second floor (not obscures the numbers themselves), through the wall from above you can see some kind of construction site and something like a warehouse.

When we drove up to the hotel, we were mildly dumbfounded: dilapidated houses are adjacent to ordinary or just renovated ones, construction cranes are around - an eerie sight. Then they found out that this area was flooded up to the 2nd floor during the flood in 2002, so almost all the houses require major repairs. This is how the whole Krzhizhikova street looks like (however, not only it): an uninhabited house with broken windows and a peeling facade is adjacent to an already repaired and shining one. But the hotel itself is really recently renovated, the facade is very beautiful (as in the photo). Inside everything is clean, the furniture is all new. The entire interior, from dishes to furniture, is from Ikea. The room is very spacious, one more adult bed can easily fit into a double room and the place will remain. If for a couple, then the bed is not one, but two are shifted together, respectively, two sets of linen and two blankets. But the beds are very comfortable, better than at home. There is also a double wardrobe, a small sofa (to watch TV), a large coat rack in the hallway. The room has a combined bathroom, a primitive shower: a low tray and the cheapest plexiglass screen, there is a large electric heated towel rail. There is no kitchen as such, there is a small corner in the corridor, but there is everything you need: two electric burners, a small refrigerator, an electric kettle, a sink, kitchen towels, a saucepan, a frying pan, a ladle and tableware for 4 people.
Entrance room directly from the common balcony. By the way, who is afraid of heights, it is better to ask for the 2nd or 3rd floor, because. to get into the room, each time you need to go along a narrow (about a meter wide) balcony.
Meals - breakfast buffet: 2-3 types of sausages, eggs, muesli, milk, yoghurts, juices, pates, cheeses, cuts, jams, rolls, 2-3 types of bakery products (there is a toaster), instant coffee, seasonal vegetables and fruits . The set of products every day is the same, but it is difficult to choose from what to eat, it is difficult to leave hungry. It is written that there is a restaurant, but I doubt there are too few people there to constantly keep a cook.
The staff is very friendly, but they don't speak Russian. Nevertheless, they will try to understand and help in a mixture of Russian, English and Czech, and not a single muscle will flinch in a displeased grimace. Initially, in the room, nothing of the extras. no options (DVD player, hair dryer, iron, telephone, etc. ). But if you need something, then you just need to take it to the reception without any cash deposit. True, I'm not sure about the phone, because. just wasn't needed. But you can also call the reception. The Internet in the room was also not checked, but at the reception it is definitely there, we asked them to find a specific address or institution and how to get there. By the way, there are no channels in Russian on TV.
Cleaning every day. They didn’t change the linen for four nights at all (we don’t change it every day at home either), but I think if you ask, they would change it.
Location: 5 minutes walk to the Krizikova metro station (or 10 minutes to the Florenc interchange station), 3-4 metro stops to any point of interest (from the room to the desired place within 15-20 minutes), walking distance: from 30 to 60 minutes (didn't bother). But in general, the distance to the center turned out to be not the most important: they left in the morning after breakfast, returned late in the evening (although if it would have been far to get there in the evening, then it might have strained). Nearby there is a shop from 9 am to 10 pm. Directly opposite there is a restaurant, but we did not go there - expensive. There is a good brewery house 5 minutes walk (address Krizikova 17), delicious Pomegranate beer, pork knuckle (you can eat and drink), the menu is in Russian, the staff who understands a little Russian, you can pay by credit card!! ! By the way, there is nowhere to change the currency in the evening and on weekends, you need to go closer to the center.
The street on which the hotel is located is very quiet, you can sleep, there are few people.
In general, the impression of the hotel is good, you can still stay there.

A small cozy hotel, I recommend it. The only minus is that the water in the shower is heated by a boiler, and after 15-20 minutes of continuous use it runs out and you have to wait until it heats up again. Otherwise, a large spacious room, the furniture is all from ikea, but furnished very comfortably. It is convenient to have a refrigerator and a stove.

Krizykova street is quiet and calm, the metro is nearby, and it’s not 10 minutes to go to the center, as they said in the travel agency and as it is written on the websites, but half an hour - no less (exactly 30 minutes to Wenceslas Square with a calm step). Breakfasts are the same, but everything is delicious. Sometimes it felt like we lived alone in a hotel - people were not heard at all, only a couple of people were met at breakfast. In general, a quiet corner of Prague
