In November we went to Prague for the second time. This time we stopped at the Nika guesthouse. This hotel is located, as it were, on a mountain and offers amazingly beautiful views from its courtyard. He himself is located in a calm and cozy private sector, surprisingly responsive and pleasant owner. We were satisfied. It turned out cheaper than the hotel, and the atmosphere is homely, the breakfasts are good, the metro is nearby, 10 minutes to the center.
By the way, this time we came to Prague on our own and we liked it more and more. We already walked along its small streets on our own, specially chose places where there are fewer tourists, it is there that you can feel the real Czech flavor. We went to the zoo, visited Petrin, Vysehrad. Great! If we did not leave Prague on our first trip, this time we decided to visit Czech castles. We contacted in advance a person who has been living in Prague for several years, and he drove us around the castles, told us about life in the Czech Republic on the way, where, how much it costs, what is worth visiting. His advice helped us a lot. He has his own website kaktamnam. ru, on which he writes about the Czech Republic, it was there that I read information about Czech sights and armed myself with various tips, and there I also saw a link to the same Nika boarding house. We visited with him Karlstejn, Kř ivoklá t, Konepruska caves. We also thought about going to Gluboka Castle on the Vltava, but it was a long way to go there, and we didn’t have time, so Oleg suggested that we go to Orlik Castle, he said that Orlik looked like Gluboka, and we were convinced of this ourselves. It looks amazing - a real white palace and does not look like other Czech castles. This is how our second acquaintance with Prague and the Czech Republic went. This trip turned out to be rich and interesting for us, thanks in many respects to Oleg.
