Yes, the furniture is a little old and the rooms are "very retro", but they are all comfortable and functional. About food, I would like to add that our company - three families (tourists are far from beginners and quite spoiled by good hotels) were all satisfied, the assortment is small, but everything is of high quality, fresh and tasty.
