A few steps from the Old Town, in one of the winding streets of Prague, the Metamorphis Hotel is comfortably located. The place where it is located is called the Ungelt-Tyn courtyard, and the first mention of it is found in the chronicles of the 9th century. At that time, there were three buildings here that served as the center of trade and commerce in Prague. One of them, the Blue House, became the Metamorphis Hotel. In the 16th century, the building passed into the hands of one of the wealthy families, and in the 17th century it was reconstructed by the famous architect Bayer. Gothic features are clearly traced in the architecture of the building: high spiers of turrets, lancet windows, pointed arches. Место, где он находится, называется двор Ungelt-Tyn, и первое упоминание о нем встречается еще в хрониках 9 века.
