Judging by the great reviews, my comment will not be published. I will still speak up. If you miss the Russian "redneck" and the foundations of the former "Sovdepiya", then you are here. The hotel has an entourage of former luxury, about 5 years ago. A notorious Russian-speaking administrator will remind you of all the delights of communicating with hotel service from the times of the Soviet Union.

The hotel has an entourage of former luxury, about 5 years ago. A notorious Russian-speaking administrator will remind you of all the delights of communicating with hotel service from the times of the Soviet Union. Like "Where are you, to whom. If you don't like it - next time go where it's better, " etc.
The room is set up the same way. There is a table, but no chairs. There are ottomans, but sitting at the table he is at the level of the chin. The telly is super new, but in the corner of the room, it is supposed to be watched either standing or sitting again on the ottoman. There are shelves under the ceiling in the closet, you can’t get it from the ottoman, but you can hang everything on hangers.
Breakfasts - a meager choice and on the principle of "if you gape, you will not find anything except bread. " One would like to ask: "What, they steal from you? "
God forbid you tell the cleaner "Come back later", even in her silent look you will hear everything eternal, inherent only in the school cleaner "Aunt Masha".
And finally. Prague is a fairly large city and it is full of 3-star hotels with Russian-speaking staff and for the same money. For those who praise this "remnant of socialism", I assure you, you will be pleasantly surprised with a little effort.

I was going to write, finally))), kind words about this hotel. All staff speaks Russian, you can get any information. Breakfast is brought to the room, very convenient. in the evening you say what time to bring and that's it. for breakfast, you can always choose something to your taste: either cottage cheese, or porridge, or sausages and ham, sausage, cheese, buns, butter, jam.

Breakfast is brought to the room, very convenient. in the evening you say what time to bring and that's it. for breakfast, you can always choose something to your taste: either cottage cheese, or porridge, or sausages and ham, sausage, cheese, buns, butter, jam. there is a kettle in the room, tap water is a fairy tale, no scale. at the reception we were offered to order food for lunch or dinner with delivery so as not to go to a restaurant. it turned out to be inexpensive and delicious. there is a safe in the room, no air conditioning, no hair dryer, though it is at the reception, but it’s running... towels are changed, even if they are clean, but they clean the room rather poorly, the maids are apparently lazy))) though, it didn’t bother me, I think it’s nonsense on a trip. the beds are excellent, moderately hard, funny pillows, for those who like to sleep on a low bed (and that's what we are). TV with Russian channels. everything in the bathroom is new and clean, working properly.

Hotel Mega is very worthy among 3 * in a quiet place. The staff is polite, speaking Russian. Settled in quickly. There were no problems with anything. Very cozy, nice interior everywhere: the restaurant is small - they cook both well and quickly. The rooms are large, spacious, with good furnishings, luxurious bathroom.

We really liked the organization, the guides are excellent, the excursions are interesting. only for those who travel for the first time, I strongly advise you to always pay for travel in transport - they are fined, and you need to pay there as soon as you enter, that is, do not pay, but compost the ticket, and not like ours during one stop. a fine for tourists is 500 crowns, that is, about 670 rubles.
When I go next time, I will definitely stay in the same hotel.
have a nice rest
