King George Hotel is located in the historical center of Prague, in a historical building from the 14th century. The hotel is located on Liliova Street, which connects two important historical sites: Bethlehem Square (with Bethlehem Church) and Charles Street, which in the 12th century was part of the Royal Route. The King George Hotel is within easy walking distance of many major sights, including the Powder Gate, the Church of Our Lady before Týn and the Astronomical Clock.More →

Rested in mid-November in this hotel. All my requests to the travel agency - an antique building, location in the city center, a double bed and a bath - were carried out exactly according to the information and photos about the hotel. and we arrived at 6 am, at 7 am I was already in the room. The room is on the last (third) floor, in my opinion "5" single with 2 single beds, a large bathroom and a very I’ll say that it’s very bright, but it was enough for me. … More ▾ Rested in mid-November in this hotel. The room is on the last (third) floor, in my opinion "5" single with 2 single beds, a large bathroom and a very I’ll say that it’s very bright, but it was enough for me... It’s good that the windows face the courtyard, since in another group of rooms, compatriots complained about the noise from the street where their windows went. The only negative, not a convenient hair dryer. Cleaning was done every day, although this was not required. The staff Natalya and Lilya are very nice women, always friendly and ready to help. Naturally, before the trip I read the reviews, they are all different both about breakfast and about the attitude. As for breakfast, you can’t imagine better for me. Always hot sausages, boiled eggs tsa, sliced cheeses and sausages from 5-6 types. Always fresh and very tasty. Dry breakfasts, fruits, yogurts, buns. Coffee and tea are all worthy. I didn’t like it here, as a rule, I don’t like anything everywhere. About “Baby Raccoon” they need to review the cartoon. All Czechs are friendly, I can’t say about our compatriots, they are always gloomy and not friendly, as if not on vacation, but in hard labor. There is Wi-Fi in the room, but it does not catch well in the restaurant
I won’t write about Prague, since you can write endlessly about it - poems, songs, etc. It’s better to see once than hear a hundred. I was very tired in a week, because I left at 8 am and returned at 23.00, I walked around it on foot. For 4 days I just wandered stupidly, it’s very easy to get lost in this “web”. But, as they say, the guides who didn’t get lost in Prague didn’t recognize her. On the fifth day, I was already oriented in the streets and sights. The tour operator (Amigo Tours) organized excursions, I would say, at the highest level. Qualified specialists conducted them in an interesting way. Transfer and transport during the excursions are perfect. And what I really liked was the radio on excursions. , but at the same time hear everything that the guide says. The only thing I didn’t like was that the entrances to the castles do not correspond to “price and quality”. I mean, in November, most of the castles are already closed and not available for viewing, and prices, sorry, small. Castle Hluboka - showed only ? part.
Prices are the same as in Russia for souvenirs and food. Who will encounter Tah Free, read how to fill out documents so that there are no delays at the airport when returning. This takes a little time.
Be sure to visit the zoo. Worth it, Moreover, in November, it's time. I understand that there are always incredibly many people there, but I was lucky, it was not enough. The whole day will be spent only on it. Moreover, you can see them both from the street (of course, you won’t see elephants and giraffes in the cold outside), as well as in closed pavilions.
Transport is a separate issue. At first, it’s very scary and confusing. But, it’s worth trying once, everything is very clear.
You can eat everywhere and for different money. I wrote out where to drink beer and eat deliciously. All opinions differed. “Shot Goose” has a chic “Velvet”, “At Medvedka” is not very service, but depends on the shift. “Boar's Knee” “On Staromestskaya” read the best - did not appreciate it, little meat, one bone, fat..... How lucky.
There is a cafe “Chill Lili” near the hotel, I often ate there. Quiet atmosphere, good service, reasonable prices, large portions, Wi-Fi, very tasty.
Go to the hotel, you won't regret it. Have a good rest!!! !

This is a cozy, small hotel in the heart of Prague. Just five minutes from the Charles Bridge and 10 minutes from the Old Town Square and the Vaclovka Cross. The staff is attentive, hospitable and sincere. For those who want something exquisite in the hotel - King George is not suitable. But those who appreciate comfort and hospitality - this is what you need. If you are in this hotel, then after a couple of blocks, find a restaurant - Prague Bridge - there is great beer that is brewed in the local cellar, and the food is licking your fingers!

This hotel was recommended by the Prague tour operator through which we booked the trip. There are very few reviews about it, but meanwhile this wonderful hotel deserves to be known about it. The hotel is located on a quiet street Liliova, in the heart of old Prague, a couple of minutes from the Royal Road, about the same distance from Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. We had a room with two beds on the top floor (a small minus for us - the elevator does not reach the attic floor and you need to climb a couple of flights up a steep staircase, as well as the lack of programs in Russian on TV). Very decent breakfasts, the staff does not speak Russian, but we did not have to communicate with them: we settled in, the entrance is separate from the reception, which is very convenient. All in all, we would go there again. It's clean, quiet, comfortable, close to everything.
