Испорченный новогодний отдых в Karlin 3* Spoiled New Year's holiday in Karlin 3*

I have been traveling around Europe since 1990: I have seen a lot, there were different hotels, but I have never seen a more disgusting establishment. Not only did the Prague tour operator “load” me on the 4th night that I didn’t need, that is, until 02.01. 12 (at a New Year’s cost of 135 euros / night), they also slipped me a rubbish hotel. I ordered a DBL + 1 extra bed for a child. In general, my child slept on the floor on a 10 cm thick foam mattress, framed around the perimeter with a wooden frame - this was called a bed. In the bathroom there is no hair dryer, no soap, no other detergents required for 3* status. The toilet is separated from the "shower" by a simple tiled partition without doors or curtains. "Shower" is an antediluvian rusty watering can sticking out of the wall, the same rusty drain is on the floor, even some kind of rug is not provided. The only thing that pleased me was the restaurant across the wall from the hotel, which has a very varied and delicious Czech cuisine - I recommend it. The same restaurant serves breakfast for guests of this "hotel". Further-more, upon arrival on 29.12. 11 the receptionist informed me that the hotel does not have parking, look for either public or park the car in front of the hotel doors. It was in the evening and I decided to park my car at the door of the hotel, I chose a place where my car was under the view of the hotel's video camera. On the morning of 30.12, after breakfast, I went out into the street and was "numb" - my trunk was stolen from the roof of the car. I was not the only victim, the navigator was stolen from the car of a German couple, who also lived in the Karlin Hotel, and the passenger window was squeezed out. The night porter was no longer in the hotel, the female hotel day porter did not know anything, did not see anything and turned on the full "frost". When the German and I called the police, it turned out that the video camera in the hotel had not been working for a long time and, in fact, nothing terrible had happened, this happens often with us. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to ANYONE, except for the central location in Prague and the neighboring restaurant, there is NOTHING there!!! !
