Shabby houses with battered rugs have one indisputable advantage - cleanliness. A sort of soviet again: washed to holes with bleach (boiled? ) sheets, "dacha" curtains.
In a European hotel, I pay attention primarily to two details - cleanliness and remoteness from the center. Thus, I would recommend this hotel to my tourists only as a last resort, because you need to be ready for the "time machine".
the bed is quite decent, the bed linen is white (really white, and not just as planned). San knot is absolutely Soviet. the soap was small (like on a train). everything is ugly but clean. in general, does not cause disgust.
I want to warn you right away that you need to deal with transport in order to get to the hotel. because for the 1st time after the walk, we walked from the metro to it for 2.5 hours... and there, in fact, 30 minutes of walking.
So. . . art. metro Invalidovna or Palmovka (it is closer). further you need to remember that the hotel is located on Sklonen street. at any stop there is a map of the metro / buses / trams... and from the station. metro see what goes there (unfortunately I don't remember anymore). I remember that we went first by tram, and then by bus. a total of 10-15 minutes.
Summary: a great option for those who go for a walk and plan to only sleep in the hotel. the review came out a little gloomy... I am very pleased that we chose this particular hotel. paid little, lived in decent conditions. I highly recommend it to those who need it.
From the minuses to the center to go from 20 to 40 minutes. The cons end here.
In terms of price / quality ratio - an excellent place.
