We were lucky with the hotel, glad we chose it. Convenient location, next to a large shopping center. The 3rd floor is full of cafes (I liked the Arab cafe the most, a Russian-speaking girl Masha works there and a cafe next door, they have delicious chocolate cakes). Near the hotel there are many cafes, a bakery, McDonald's.

Ibis breakfasts are good, especially croissants (we still remember their taste). The room is clean, there are bathroom amenities, shampoo, soap (and not in small jars, as usual), there is no tea in the room, it is expensive at the bar, so you can buy it in the mall. Almost no one understands Russian there, except for the maids, as it turned out. Internet is weak, visible only on the upper floors, it works fine in the lobby. In general, we liked the hotel, we did not regret that we chose it.

My colleague and I arrived in Prague after a few days in Paris. We arrived and once again made sure that there is simply no better city than Prague and cannot be! This time, by the way, we managed to celebrate spring in the Czech capital and take part in the Bohemian Carnival. It was just great! . . And now - specifically about the hotel.

Everything is very good! Cozy rooms, excellent service, friendly staff, great breakfasts… And, what was very important for us, good, stable internet in the room. In general, no problem!
We were especially glad that we chose this particular hotel, evaluating the value for money. In Russia, it is difficult to find such a decent hotel for such money.
As for the location… Yes, the hotel is not located in the center of Prague. But getting to any place is easy by tram, the stop of which is literally a stone's throw away. But, in my opinion, it is better to take a walk. Let's say, from the Charles Bridge along the Kampa and the embankments to the Ibis, it takes 20-25 minutes to walk. And this is not a road, but a walk that gives pleasure! . .
It should be noted that near the hotel there are a lot of restaurants, pizzerias and pubs, the prices of which are lower than in the center. So it's easy and inexpensive to dine in the evening. Plus, next door is the Novy Smichov shopping center with a huge TESCO supermarket.
Another plus of this hotel is its proximity to the bus station "Na knizhetsi". From here you can travel to Č eský Krumlov, Č eské Budě jovice and small towns in the Czech Republic.
In a word, my next visit to Prague was a success! How could it be otherwise? ! After all, Prague is ALWAYS gorgeous! And Ibis - thank you very much for the excellent reception and inexpensive prices. I think that for inquisitive travelers "Ibis Mala Strana" is an excellent option for "accommodation" in Prague! . .

We stayed at the Ibis Praha Mala Strana 3 * hotel from April 13 to 20. The hotel was chosen based on reviews. I am very grateful to everyone who wrote them, it helped not to make a mistake in choosing a hotel. I will share my impressions a little, maybe this will make it easier for someone to get to know Prague.

I am very grateful to everyone who wrote them, it helped not to make a mistake in choosing a hotel. In general, the hotel is good - the price corresponds to the quality. It is very clean, the cleaning is good, the towels are changed daily. Breakfasts are monotonous, but satisfying.
The only drawback is that it is noisy at night in the room from transport passing near the hotel. Closed windows with double-glazed windows help only 20-30%.
About excursions. . Visited all walking tours of the historical places of Prague. We independently examined Vysehrad, climbed the funicular to Petrin Hill, Troy Castle, Prague Zoo.
From bus excursions - we visited Dresden, Nurberg, visited the city of Kutna Hora and Sternberg Castle. We bought excursions to Nuremberg and walking tours in Prague from the company that hosted us - best of Travel, (the main advantage of organizing these excursions is the presence of headphones through which you can hear the guide's story, which allowed you to freely take pictures and you can not stand next to the guide) Excursions to Dresden and the city of Kutna Hora were bought through GloBus-Travel near the Powder Gate. On these trips, we had minibuses and groups of 9 and 15 people, which had its positive points. The work of the guides was always good. Most of all I liked Elena, who went with us to Kutna Hora.
Every day we visited various cafes and breweries. We tried to try different types of beer. Most of all I liked the dark beer in the restaurant "At the Prokaznitsa" and in the brewery "On the Verandas" (500 meters from Andel metro station) Good Velvet and sliced beer. They took dishes only national cuisine. The best baked ribs in the brewery "On the verandas". In general, everything is very tasty, but this food is not for dieters or people with a sick stomach.
Public transport - The first days we used the metro. As it turned out, tickets for 18 kr are no longer there, but there are only 24 kr for 30 minutes and more. In those days when there were many transfers and transfers, they bought a daily allowance for 110 kr. I recommend asking for coins for buying tickets from vending machines at the first exchange of money, because kiosks where you can buy tickets for paper money are not everywhere, and it’s not very logical to go to the metro station in the center for them. In recent days, trams No. 12 and 20 have been used more. It takes 10-12 minutes to get to Wenceslas Square. The road is more interesting than the subway.
In general, I liked Prague. It is a city with its own history, culture and positive energy. You can get pleasure just walking along the old streets.
I will try to visit Prague and the Ibis Praha Mala Strana 3 * hotel again.

If you want to spend a short three-day vacation in an interesting and inexpensive way - go to Prague! The weather in November is wonderful - from 10 to 15 degrees Celsius, the city looks wonderful - the whole center is immersed in all shades of autumn nature! If there is a sunny day, then the walks will be unforgettable. . . as well as the photos taken! So, the Ibis Mala Srana hotel is a standard European three-ruble note. Small rooms, clean and tidy bathroom, Russian TV channel, good breakfasts, polite staff. . . The elevator can only be used with a card - protection from uninvited guests.... free wi-fi. One minus - far from the center. You can walk, but when you get to the main attractions, you will already be pretty tired. . True, in this case, there are a huge number of coffee shops in the city center where you can relax with a cup of coffee with a chocolate cake! I want to pay special attention to all Russian tourists - do not change money from your hands! You will be given either Hungarian currency or old-style crowns! In the exchangers in the center there is a huge commission - together 2500 crowns for 100 euros, at best, they will give you 1700 !! ! If possible, change money in Russia, or in extreme cases - look for banks in Prague, but not in the center!! ! Souvenirs can be bought for euros, but there is no way to eat in a restaurant and visit a shopping center without crowns.
