Our family was in Slovakia for the first time. The hotel in which we ended up is really the best in Tatranska Lomnica. The building is located on a mountain and from the window there was a wonderful view of a small town. The settlement went well. There is practically no language barrier, although Slovaks and Poles have a rest, or rather ride (there are very few Ukrainians, Russians).

The building is located on a mountain and from the window there was a wonderful view of a small town. The settlement went well. There is practically no language barrier, although Slovaks and Poles have a rest, or rather ride (there are very few Ukrainians, Russians). The rooms are clean but modest. Breakfast buffet (meat and cheese cuts, various sausages and omelettes, pastries and fruits, yoghurts and drinks). Dinners are ordered. Very refined and beautifully presented. In the evenings, a fireplace burns in the hall and the guy plays the piano. There is a children's room. Cool spa. Several types of saunas, a swimming pool, a jacuzzi and an excellent outdoor hot pool with a view of the Tatranska Lomnica. A hotel taxi runs to the ski lift every half hour (free of charge). Lots of ski and sled rentals. Thermal underwear and all clothing for winter sports is presented in a wide range and at lower prices than in Ukraine. Variety of trails, also for children. The instructors are always helpful. Lots of restaurants with affordable prices. We went by train to Stary Smokovec, where there is a toboggan run. Getting to Poprad and Kosice is also not difficult. Beautiful skylines, great snow, clean air and skiing or sledding. Deer are walking. In one word, a fairy tale!
