Hotel Geo, Perunova 12, traveled in January 2011.
Do not choose this hotel if possible. We booked at the last moment, and there was no other way out. Among the minuses: bad and uncomfortable rooms (thin walls and Russian comrades behind the wall with a hangover syndrome - audibility is amazing), very poor breakfast, no vegetables or fruits: eggs, ham, sometimes sausages, cheese, tea, tasteless coffee, milk, bread, cereal, yogurt, because of the monotony and lack of taste on the second day, I don’t feel like going to breakfast, poor-quality room cleaning, I would even say its absence, toilet paper, sorry, they put it only when we asked to do it at the reception, on the 0 floor, when when you go to breakfast there were always unpleasant smells, not Chanel No. 5, Russian-speaking staff is more of a minus than a plus - a la russe service is guaranteed, with complete ignorance of the city and local features. ))) And if you speak good English, you don't need this staff for nothing.
The only plus is the convenient location. The nearest station is Jiriho z Podebrad, and after 1 station is already Museum - this is already the center to Wenceslas Square. But if you wish, you can drive extra 2-4 stations in a comfortable, quiet and clean metro than live in this hotel. This is where all the pluses end. : -) Extras: (but these are not the pluses of the hotel, but rather the pluses of the area). Through one station (Flora) the shopping center of the same name. Around the corner, on Vinohradska Street, there is a supermarket where you can buy water and fruit. Across one street, parallel to Perunov, on the street. Nitranska (closer to the Jiriho z Podebrad metro station) is a wonderful place called "U Palechki": a cozy atmosphere, delicious food and good service. There is also very, very tasty homemade white wine Tramin (200 crowns a bottle or 54 crowns a glass), good meat with blood, local cuisine, tender fish, large delicious salads. We ate there every day and were never disappointed.

The visitors are only locals, we have always been the only tourists. Compared with restaurants in the center of Prague, the comparison is always in Palechka's favor.
