Travel agency and tour operator, my husband and I were satisfied. The Czech Republic and Prague itself are simply magical, you will not regret it. We didn't really like this hotel. It is located in the center, the place is quiet and beautiful, but it is far from the Powder Gate (a place where tourists gather to visit excursions) (15-20 min. ) The staff speaks only Czech, except for the girls working in the kitchen. The hotel does not provide slippers or bathrobes)) My husband and I lived in room number 8. View from the window to a cozy restaurant, Chertovka River, Charles Bridge. In our opinion, the room is tiny, repair would not hurt either - the walls were dirty, in places with fallen plaster. The air conditioner did not work for heating. You turn on the TV, there is not a single Russian-speaking channel, although at that time 70% of vacationers were Russians. On the second day, the doors to the bathroom flew out with hinges, it's good that at that moment there was no one there, they were repaired only a day later. Breakfast is the same, pastries are ordinary. But all of the above did not overshadow my husband and I impressions of Prague itself, excursions, and recreation in general.

We did not specifically choose this hotel, it was offered to us as a replacement in recent days, but the enthusiasm was overwhelmed from the moment it became clear exactly where it was located, the impression of this cozy, cute and incredibly friendly hotel only intensified the delight. Chertovka is located in the heart of Prague. Wherever you look, the views are everywhere, as if from postcards. We lived in room 21, an attic room with two windows, from which a stunning view of the Charles Bridge (“at hand”) and the cutest restaurant below us with a terrace and fur on chairs, a canal along which sightseeing trams run. Ducks and swans were fed directly from the window, to the delight of tourist photographers! We walked a lot, restaurants, coffee houses, pubs, street vendors with hot wine, drinks, delicious sausages, there are a great many around. We slept peacefully like children, sometimes there was a feeling that there was nobody in the hotel except us))) We always had breakfast at the hotel. The breakfasts are very good, there were always vegetables, fruits, yoghurts, a variety of muesli flakes, they made omelettes or sausages to order, tea, coffee, juices, water, cheese slices, sausages, delicious bread and pastries. Cleaned completely imperceptibly and quickly, while we had breakfast. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, always with a smile. Upon check-in, there was a slight glitch in the program and we were not immediately given the keys, they apologized a thousand times, gave us unscheduled free coffee / tea, opened the rooms with a universal key, a little later they brought personal keys and, as a compliment, a bottle of good champagne. We really liked Prague, but if we had lived in another hotel, the impression probably would not have been the same. Chertovka is the place where we want to return!

I went with my husband on a honeymoon trip to Prague. We were looking for a hotel for a very long time. I didn't want anything to ruin my vacation. The choice fell on "Certovka". Didn't regret it! The location of the hotel, in my opinion, is the best, no matter where in the city (old or new) you find yourself, you can always find it accurately. I was pleased that there are several cafes near the hotel where you can eat delicious food and for little money, as well as drink Czech beer. Everything is nearby, even gardens, where you can not only take a walk, but also admire peacocks, fish and wonderful nature. Our trip was successful. We will definitely return to this country and now only to this hotel.

Every day cleaning in the room, cleaned so that we did not even notice them. While we were having breakfast, we tried to clean it up. Breakfast buffet. Lots and lots of different tastes. There are also hot dishes that are cooked right away, there were several omelettes, scrambled eggs and fried sausages to choose from. The staff is very friendly. At the reception, only a young man speaks Russian, but everyone else understands Russian and tries to answer clearly, so that there were no problems in communication.
Classical music plays softly in the corridors.
When we go to Prague again, we will definitely stop at Chertovka : ).
