I liked the hotel as a whole, cleaning was every day, decent breakfasts, quiet, there is a swimming pool (convenient payment of 1 rub. for our minute). Good hotel, polite and inconspicuous staff, mostly Russian speaking. Breakfast did not differ in variety from day to day, but tasty and there is plenty to choose from. The room is large enough, the plumbing is in excellent condition. Every day, if necessary, supplemented with soap/shampoo. Towels are changed upon request (at least that's what it said, but we never asked). … More ▾ Good hotel, polite and inconspicuous staff, mostly Russian speaking. The room is large enough, the plumbing is in excellent condition. Every day, if necessary, supplemented with soap/shampoo. Towels are changed upon request (at least that's what it said, but we never asked).
On the day of departure, the plane was late in the evening, so things were left in the storage room at the hotel reception, we were not charged a penny for this.
A huge fat plus is the location of the hotel. 3 minutes to the metro station / bus station "Florenz", 5 minutes to the Powder Tower.
Minus - free Wi-Fi is available only in the lobby at the reception.

The only and indisputable plus of the hotel is its location, it is possible, without resorting to public transport services, to get to any point of the Old City. The staff speaks Russian, but do not expect friendliness, a desire to help and other amenities from the Czechs, ask, they will answer, do not expect initiatives. The rooms are cleaned every day, but only in conspicuous places, towels are changed every 2-3 days, shampoo and soap, do not wait. Very uncomfortable flat pillows that are not comfortable to sleep on at all. In general, the interior of the hotel resembles a Soviet sanatorium of the late 90s. The food does not shine with variety, the same thing every day, though in large quantities (eggs, sausages, muesli, cuts....tea, coffee, juices), the dining room is also not very clean, but there is WI-FI and this cannot but rejoice.
Summing up, I’ll say: if comfort is not the main thing for you, then this is your hotel, using it you can save a lot for additional excursions (for example, a 2-day excursion to Paris from Prague costs about 160 euros), if comfort is important, choose Ibis, it is located at 3 minutes walk from Akha, but there 4 * and everything is completely different.

The biggest advantage of this hotel, the location nothing more! convenient location to the Powder Gate 5min walk without using any transport! and sightseeing buses stop on the other side of the hotel 3min and you're in the room! I was traveling alone, counting on a single! But the number did not inspire at all! The stale air in the room and how much you do not ventilate it remains like that! Linen was not changed even once in a week! Although my friend from the hotel on-against the linen was changed every day! The same goes for towels! Well, at least they took out the trash for free! The breakfasts did not inspire at all! Monotonous: sausages, eggs, grated carrots, cabbage, oatmeal and it's the same thing every day! on the 4th day there is one thing and it is also simply not possible! As for excursions! The staff is subtly friendly!
I wanted to stroke some things, they said that they have a paid service, I had to pay 100 kroons for 2 things, because I didn’t want to walk in mint! Went firm Amigo tour! Yes, there was a transfer and they drove back and forth and brought to the plane! I had an excursion to Vienna and Dresden! All in one day and in a completely frantic rhythm! You feel like a squeezed lemon! and it's just called pumping money nothing more! We arrived in Vienna quickly, they showed us where everything was located without going inside, 2 hours of time to have time to see something and something else to eat, since they didn’t bother to organize any kind of snack! In general, no satisfaction, and even 80 euros thrown out! next time I will take only one city and it is better to pay for excursions at the agency itself, and not in Prague, so it turns out much cheaper! You can explore more on your own and not be so tired!
When we went to Visegrad in Prague, they brought us there by bus, then we ran for a guide through the mountains for 5 hours, and then we were told to get back on our own! whatever you want after 6 hours of jogging is pretty cool! I think if you already brought it, organize and so to speak delivery back! The organization of excursions is not at the proper level!

Ordinary hotel. Neat and clean, it is clear that this is not 5 stars and not Turkey and Egypt. Worth your money. Convenient, almost in the center or in the center. Near metro, tram. Those who want to get to the hotel themselves will have no problem sorting out the maps. The food is not varied. Prague is not a city in which you have to stay in a hotel, but to spend the night, take a shower is quite enough. … More ▾ Ordinary hotel. I was quite satisfied with this hotel. Axa is an ordinary three-star hotel. Its main advantages: -Very convenient location in the very center of the city (15 minutes to Wenceslas Square from where all excursions start, 7 minutes to the Powder Tower). - Enough dense and varied breakfasts (even compared to other Prague hotels): boiled sausages, sausages, scrambled eggs, vegetable cuts, fruits, 2 types of salad, two types of sausage, 4 types of cheese, pastries of own production. … More ▾ Axa is an ordinary three-star hotel. The rooms in this hotel of 2 categories - those up to the 3rd floor - are old dark, with ancient furniture, the windows can overlook an incomprehensible landscape in the form of neighboring windows and the roof of the hotel. These rooms are called smoking rooms.
But from the 4th to the 6th floor - these are non-smoking rooms with a beautiful view of the whole of Prague, the rooms are bright, with new furniture and plumbing.
I happened to be there and there (first, having settled in the old fund, then for the remaining 3 days they moved to the 6th floor). Russian speaking staff. It does not differ in special friendliness, but there is no special ngativa from them either. Whatever you want - three stars, so don't expect special treatment for you (and especially for Russians).
So for a sightseeing holiday (only for the function of spending the night), this hotel is very suitable
