I was accused for nothing of breaking the key. Although it initially did not work well, it still opened. On the third day, the lock did not work and the door did not open, so I asked a passing company to help. They also did not open it, they advised to contact the reception, saying that they had exactly the same situation once on vacation. As a result, I went to the reception for help, as a result they found a crack in the key. I left the key at the reception for all three days when I left the hotel, but this did not interest anyone. In general, I paid a fine. At the same time, the market price of the key is 60 kroons, and the fine is 405 kroons. Guess I'm not the only one, don't fall for this scam. The road from the center to the hotel is terrible.

Throughout the hotel there are many beautiful paintings, overall design at a high level. At the reception they speak Russian, very nice and always ready to help you with anything. A variety of delicious pots are prepared for breakfast, and most importantly, everything is fresh every morning. As for cleanliness, it's hard to find fault, the girls cleaned, changed towels and added shampoos, soap... every day. However, we found the disadvantages - a small sauna and no dinner. : -)

The hotel is cozy, almost family friendly. Everywhere carpeting. The rooms are not very big.
Standard Double - this is for two, it will be crowded for three. We also took a Double but with two rooms and were not mistaken). The price of such a room was still lower than in other fours in Prague.
The room has a safe, 2 flat-screen TVs, a kettle, free Internet. Cleaning every day and only in your absence.
Crowds of bus tourists do not carry to Ascania - quiet, calm)
The reception is fluent in Russian.
Breakfast is of good quality. The croissants are baked for guests themselves.
There are not many rooms in the hotel, so you can have breakfast almost at home.
Near the reception there is a stand with umbrellas, which are designed specifically for guests (were pleasantly surprised).
You can also buy tickets for public transport there.
The hotel staff is almost invisible and very friendly.
In the basement there is a sauna with a swimming pool (for a fee, but cheaper than in Kyiv). Visited it a couple of times with the whole family with pleasure.
The hotel is somewhat removed from the center of Prague. You need to drive 4-5 stops on the tram and 1-2 on the metro. You have to walk 5 minutes to the tram stop.
Transport runs with German punctuality (minute per minute) - see the schedule at the bus stop and save 3-5 minutes every day. You will be in Old Prague in about half an hour.
2 weeks in Prague alone is too much, and we traveled by train to Dresden and Vienna on our own (armed with audio guides). The train station is also half an hour away. Again on the same tram to the metro and metro 1 stop - only in the other direction. You can use the train ticket at any time convenient for you during the week.
General conclusion:
Pleasant hotel! Suitable for those who stay in Prague for more than 1 night. Active youth will be bored there.
Families with children, couples, solo travelers - this is it.
