The towel was changed only when they threw it on the floor and warned the hostess about it. Shampoo brought only after a reminder. No breakfast: 2 thin slices of ham and one and a half pieces of the cheapest sausage, which they stopped eating after the third day. To the question: can you at least boil an egg, we got the answer: what are you, come here to eat? When asked about a poorly functioning TV with only one program and a broken remote control, the answer was the same: did you come here to watch TV? The blankets looked like they had been picked up from a dump, the bed linen was stained. So the distance from the city center was not the biggest minus. No 3 stars, only one rating - "complete sucks".

The hotel is far from the center. In the evening, returning through the snow for 10-15 minutes is not very pleasant. The rooms are not bad. Instant coffee in a thermos is very bitter. … More ▾ The hotel is far from the center. In the evening, returning through the snow for 10-15 minutes is not very pleasant. The rooms are not bad. Breakfast is not a buffet when you are given a portioned set on a plate: two slices of sausage, a slice of ham and two slices of bread. Instant coffee in a thermos is very bitter. Milk on the first day was given sour. In the rooms, towels were not changed all seven days, shampoo was put in one bag. The toilet is one for two rooms and is located in the corridor. The duvet cover is much smaller than the blanket, the blanket is all stained, it causes a feeling of disgust. Most importantly, in the rooms they climb on the wardrobes. We carried everything of value with us. And at all he pulls on 3 stars, only one.

One of the worst hotels in Prague in my opinion. Located very far from the center. To the subway 10-15 minutes at a fast pace through the park. The hostess, Russian-speaking, frank rude woman of about 50. Apparently, the "soviet" upbringing affects. The rooms are very small and the furniture is old. The worst thing is that the toilet for 2 rooms or even is located in the corridor, which is unacceptable for 3 stars. Everything is run down, dirty and dusty. In the shower, there were hairs on the floor from intimate places from previous visitors... It was very unpleasant. Breakfast is just no. The hostess herself puts on the table what she sees fit. I do not recommend anyone to choose this hotel. If you want inexpensive accommodation in Prague, then choose at least the Crystal Hotel. This is a more acceptable option - a more convenient location (you are the first to be brought to the hotel and the last to be taken to the airport, you can easily and without transfers get to the center by tram) and the rooms, although not luxury, do not cause disgust and correspond to 3 stars.

By metro to the center 20 minutes. The hotel offers accommodation in comfortable rooms (blatant lie! - that they are clean, yes, but not comfortable at all, they were so 6 nights, not a single towel was changed! and hair dryers are not supposed at all, but what hair dryers, there is one socket for the whole room) rooms of several types: - standard 2- and 3-bed rooms equipped with showers (or bathtubs), a toilet (all this is on the floor, you take the key and go to the toilet, and there is not even a regular latch, then you wash yourself and go along corridor, where all sorts of personalities, you go wet to your room, do you think this is normal ??? ), as well as a TV. - 2-room apartment (don't make me laugh, you haven't seen the apartment) (maximum for 4 people) with a balcony (with which balcony??? ) and with all amenities, which is very convenient for couples with children. The hotel is convenient both for group excursion programs and for individual bookings. COMPLETE SUCK!!!!!!
Animation, sports, swimming pools, for children - there is none of this, the food is just awful!

Were in Prague from December 29.2006 to January 2.2007, hotel Ambra. The hotel is terrible, very far from the center. The room is cold, no matter how you come, the battery is always off, the sheets are torn, the light bulbs burn through one. Before that, in 2006, also on New Year's Eve, we stayed at the Henrietta Hotel, Prague 10, a wonderful hotel, but this one is like a rooming house. … More ▾ Were in Prague from December 29.2006 to January 2.2007, hotel Ambra. After the transfer to the hotel early in the morning, problems immediately began. I could accommodate 2 people. The problem was solved only after a few hours.
The interior of the hotel is outwardly very neat, if not deepened. Then I had to pay attention that the front door to the "courtyard" of the hotel, which is more like a gate, does not lock at all, and the same situation with the front door to the hotel itself. And no one will pay attention to who entered, who left. Thus, all your left things in the hotel are under the threat of "sudden" disappearance.
Breakfast, as written, is a buffet. Not a huge range, but tolerable. It does not play a special role, since you can (should! ) have a great meal in the city itself.
Continuing the story about food, I would like to recommend a great little bar-restaurant not far from the hotel (when exiting, left to the first turn, left to the road and right, it will be the one across the road). It really was a pleasure to spend time there, and even with excellent service, not to mention beer and food.
I return to the hotel. One evening we arrived at the hotel after a long excursion, in a great mood. But how it was hopelessly spoiled! We found that all mobile phones(2) and chargers were literally gone! This was followed by a big showdown, and a call to the police and not at all clean hotel staff. Thank God that the money and documents were with us that day.
It was not possible to prove anything and to do the same.
So be careful with Ambra, not everything is clean and perfect there.
I admit the possibility that the situation could change, but fears are unlikely to disappear.
