The tour is from October 7 to 14, but also back and forth at night, so 2 days was gone, a full 6 days, meals HB, the most budget room is Dbl (Studio Apartment).
The hotel is located on the main street where buses run, there are many cafes and shops nearby. The windows of the rooms overlook the sea, silence. The territory is small, there is a swimming pool for adults and a paddling pool for children, we did not swim. Breakfast tables around the pool. We did not meet anything bad, terrible and dirt with insects, maybe we were lucky.
Wi-Fi is free at the reception, the signal is good, even in the room near the door I caught it.

BREAKFAST every day is the same and poor - boiled eggs, fried bacon, incomprehensible sausages, tomato, cucumber, toast, breakfast cereals with cold milk, butter, jam and a machine with boiling water and various coffee drinks - this pleased, especially hot chocolate and espresso. Yupi juice, sliced cheese and sausage, sometimes feta.
We flew out early in the morning, so we skip breakfast, for a day at breakfast Krestina needs to order a lunchbox for the road, and receive it at the reception at night.

DINNER - we wrote out a ticket to the reception every day and went to eat at the SuperS restaurant on the right side, 80 meters from the hotel. We chose a dish according to the special menu, waited about 15 minutes until it was cooked, at this time a compliment from the establishment was a basket with warm croutons and butter or olives with pickled celery.
The portions are large, tasty, and fries go with everything. Drinks for an additional fee. We looked at the menu and calculated the difference in the tour, it comes out the same at 10 € per dish, 20 € for two.
We missed the first dinner, as we checked into the hotel in the morning of the next day, we were issued a coupon for lunch in a restaurant.
NUMBER 6, one-room more than 20 squares, large on the ground floor with a balcony, Studio Apartment at the entrance there is a mini-kitchen with a two-burner electric stove, an electric kettle, a saucepan, a frying pan, a cutting board, 2 cups, saucers, plates of three sizes, knives, spoons and forks. there is an extractor hood, a sink. In general, if you wish, you can cook to eat. We cooked shrimp once and soup once.
Towels and bedding in our room were white and new. The bathroom has a deep bathtub with a flexible shower hose, but apparently there was a water leak and there is a strip of rust in front of the shower. In the box shower gel, toilet paper and nothing else.
TV no Russian channels
Hairdryer is given at the reception free of charge upon request.
Safe in the closet for an additional fee of 3 € per day.
Air conditioning for an additional fee of 6 € per day.
Mini fridge for free.
Cleaning in the room seems to have been carried out, but it was - take out the trash and change the towels if they are on the bathroom.
I didn’t make the bed - thanks to her for that, I don’t like to pull the sheet out from under the mattress. The tiles on the floor are white, the towel for the feet in the bathroom is not provided! very slippery to get out of the shower. I took a washcloth and a little feri from home, as well as soap and shampoo.
There were no living creatures and mosquitoes, except for cats on the territory of the hotel.
Slept with an open balcony.

SEA, BEACH - beach towels are not issued, go to the nearest beach - The central beach of this area is Flamingo Beach 800 meters - with the most developed infrastructure, to Sunrise Beach 1 km, we walked there in 9 minutes and back a little longer downhill and going to shops.
The Fig Tree Bay beach is exactly 2 kilometers from the hotel, we walked to the embankment and further along the promenade along the sea further. There are a lot of people there, and therefore we liked our nearest one more, there is a shower, a foot wash, a toilet with a dressing room - everything is civilized, comfortable.
We took a beach tent with us, it was very convenient for three of us. There were also families with children with tents. Sunbeds and umbrellas are paid, after 10.00 they collect money for a sunbed 2.5 € + 2.5 € umbrella, if for two you have 1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds, then you have to pay 7.5 € a day, issues a coupon with a sunbed number for today, you can leave to come.
The air temperature during the day was +30, and at night about +22, the water in the morning felt cold for me +19, and in the afternoon even I swam in the sea, the water was about +26.
There was almost no wind. One day there was a hail storm and a downpour on the afternoon of October 13, the rest of the days the weather was fine!

To the right of the hotel, 100 meters on the opposite side, there is an inexpensive alcohol and drinks supermarket Nicks Bottle Shop & Exchange (we have not seen such prices anywhere else in Cyprus).
Supermarket LIDL CYPRUS on the left side of the hotel 1 kilometer, walked, visited 4 times, the prices are different, they need to be understood - the goods are below and the price tag is on the top shelf with other goods.
A few in Protaras Best Buy Supermarket, it seemed to us a little more expensive than in Lidl. I really liked the ice cream in boxes of 6 pieces Magnum. We went to the Metro supermarket, it is 5 km away. from the hotel towards Famagusta turn to Paralimni, nothing special, Lidl seemed even better.
In a lane almost opposite the hotel is the Church of the Prophet Elijah on a hill 115 m above sea level.
SHOPPING HOME Olive oil, for fun 1 stick Donkey milk soap, Halloumi cheese for grilling, sweets - didn't like it.
I paid everywhere with a VISA and MasterCard card of Privatbank, a regular salary card, I signed on a check without a PIN code, if the card with a photo is named, then you don’t need to sign. I checked everything on the Privat24 website clearly at the rate on the day of purchase, the rate fluctuated a little from 32.24 to 32.48 hryvnia. I bought cash € before departure for 33.30 UAH, so think about how profitable. For cash only on the bus and for excursions paid. The bus ride costs 1.
5 € even in Ayia Napa, even in Paralimni.
EXCURSIONS sightseeing Heart of Cyprus with lunch at the guide 45 €, and on a boat sightseeing from Famagusta to Cape Greco for 10 € per person with a drink and fruit.
I liked CYPRUS, I hope that there will still be an opportunity to visit, for me the thermophilic end of August and September are more suitable. Prices for groceries, fruits, fish are higher than ours and much, often promotions in supermarkets, pork is not expensive, and you can find the right product for your budget! .
Travel, enjoy your vacation, be happy! ))

I liked that the refrigerator froze well - this is not a mini-bar in Turkish hotels. Of the minuses - an unpleasant smell that came from the drain in the sink. The view from the window - on the gardens and the sea in the distance. The room is quite quiet, the noise of the city can be heard in the distance and does not interfere with sleep. To the sea to go 15 minutes, to the left of the hotel there is an excellent beach. The staff is responsive and friendly. I don’t advise you to take dinners, they are served in the nearby cafe "Super S", we once went to it for the sake of interest - it's dirty and not everything is tasty. During this period, only Russian-speaking guests lived in the hotel - from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus. Not far from the hotel there is a rocky mountain, on top of which is the Church of the Prophet Elijah, it is perfectly visible from the stairs and corridors of the hotel. I strongly advise you to climb to it, from the top a beautiful view of Protaras opens.

The hotel itself is small, it has only up to 30 rooms, each of them is equipped with a kitchen. Our kitchen was equipped with everything you need, dishes, pots, pan, kettle, stove. Our ticket included breakfast and dinner. So, the kitchen in the room was not particularly necessary. We were fed monotonous breakfasts, although for dinner the choice of dishes was much more interesting. We went to the sea every day (it's 15 minutes one way), the walk took place with beautiful faces, so it didn't bother. The beach is beautiful, just like the sea. The rest turned out to be excellent thanks to the good and friendly atmosphere in the hotel.

The room has dishes, a fridge, a bathtub combined with a toilet, kitchen cabinets, a TV set, but only local channels and films in English. Internet at the reception there are sofa tables, but the Internet is not fast. In Cyprus and in Protaros there are mosquitoes appearing after 21 they disappear from 5 I highly recommend air conditioning 6 euros a day.
For lovers of urine therapy, there are 2 pools with umbrellas and sun loungers. 1 - for children under 4 years old, the second for the rest, but with such a sea, fuck them. Go to the sea for 10-15 minutes, I advise you to go to the left of the hotel - the stones to the right. Umbrella 2.5 euros, sunbed 2.5 euros per day, there are no problems with them. There is also a place to put a towel or a blanket for free. beach sand sunset is smooth for children and adults. There is no need to swim far behind them in order to swim normally. For those who like to swim with goggles or a mask, you need to swim either near the pier or on the other side of the beach near the island. I highly recommend taking a bus to Cone Bay beach for about 10 minutes, going there in general with glasses or a mask is excellent. In Ainapa, I don’t recommend people to the beach as before the occupation of the Crimea on a skirt - there’s no place to put a towel + water is more draughty. For children 8+, there is nothing in Protaras except hiking by the sea and a very meager selection of slot machines - you have to go to Ainapa - there the water park is worse in quality than in Berdyansk and dream town in Kyiv, a ticket of 38 euros is a lot of people, the amusement park is also not a fountain. noteworthy is a 20 euro slingshot and a ferris wheel, I don’t know how much for tokens 10 euros-12 tokens. A water-fire show in Protaras costs 22-23 euros (how do you get tickets and from whom), but also after the free musical fountains in Vinitsa it’s not very (an order of magnitude worse) more or less interesting for the last 10 minutes,
There is also the bullying of the "Russian world" - burying cigarette butts in the sand (urns every 10-15 meters), scatter seeds and lush rations around the sunbed, spit on the sidewalk (they clean up quickly. respect.
The cheapest ice cream is 0.6 euros at McDonald's. In the supermarket, lidl watermelon 0.22-0.25 euros, melon 0.45-0.55 euros, beer 0.55-0.8 euros for half a liter, water 1.9-3.5 euros for 6 bottles, oranges 4 kg- 1.8 euros, 2kg mesh 1.5 euros. chicken 3.65 euros per kilo, meat about that + - 1 euro. Hard cheeses from 6 euros per kilo, pasta 0.5-07 euros a pack.
I advise you to buy fruit yogurt in 1l. buckets - not fruity stupidly sour cream or almost cheese.

Everything is also clean, white, but smaller. There are all necessary utensils. Thought it was email. the stove will be all for a long time, but no, the stove is a beast! Refrigerator, as everywhere in hotels - small. Not far from shops, there are expensive ones, and 15 minutes to LIDL, but I preferred the Metro. Good luck to everyone and have a good rest!
Z. Y. As always, the impression of the hotel remains on one person. Hellen at the reception was very welcoming and worried about the weather.

1. Protaras is a very small (1.5 shopping streets and embankment) resort area, after 3 days I already looked at everything... Who is bored without "movement" - better Ayia Napa. 2. Lawsonia Hotel: -everything corresponds to average reviews, quiet, well designed (balconies are removed from each other, there is no direct sun, windows are not on the road) - cozy patio with a swimming pool, standard reception -rooms 1-10 first floor, 11-20 second, 21-28 third. … More ▾ 1. - cozy patio with a swimming pool, standard reception
-rooms 1-10 first floor, 11-20 second, 21-28 third. We had a balcony on the garden, from 23 there was already a pool
- the rooms are scheduled in advance, it is unlikely to be able to change (although there is an announcement: change of number and late check-out 15 euros)
3. Location: to the sea 12-15 min, supermarket Lidl 15-20 min
4. Number:
-spacious, normal furniture in the kitchen and in the bedroom, old in the living room (+ dull white walls, at least some wall lamp or a picture... )
-air conditioning 6 euros, safe 3 euros.
-TV plasma (can be transferred to the bedroom), there are no Russian channels, we recorded serials on a USB flash drive, it reads norms.
- from dishes: 2 pots, a frying pan, a kettle, glasses-glasses, plates-tea cups, forks-spoons
- in the bathroom there is only liquid soap, 2 large and small towels
- they give one adapter for free, if you need to turn on several of your devices, take a tee
I recommend taking with you: a couple of meters of linen cord + clothespins, dish gel + sponge + kitchen towel, cutting board + normal knife, ice mold
5. The nearest beach is crowded, we went to the left of the pier - a small bay with 10 umbrellas. If you plan to be at sea all day, it's better to take an umbrella-sunbed
Fig Tree Bay - you can go see it once
6. Excursions were taken at the local "Aphrodite Tour" - 2 times cheaper than the tour operator, everything is fine, no complaints. The cheapest agency (in the Pernera district) Platon Crown Resort
We went to Northern Cyprus and the "Heart of Troodos" - sightseeing tours
7. We bought in Lidl (better in the morning - more choice), the Metro has a varied assortment. A good (at whiskey prices) store to the right of the hotel 150m or Happy Day in the center
It's bad that there is no market with local, homemade products

Were not disappointed. The hotel is not luxurious, so to speak, but quite solid. It was built quite interestingly, with steps, as it were, which well isolates neighboring balconies from one another. The pool is small, but given that there are not very many rooms, this is enough.
The staff is friendly, they speak good English, some - quite tolerably in Russian. Everyone will talk, all questions will be answered. Cleaned up normally, our sand was swept well all the time.
We had a two-room suite for a family, there is enough space. Of the small minuses - paid Wi-Fi in the rooms (downstairs near the reception desk - free of charge, but it does not reach the rooms). And, paid - it is still putting it mildly. 10 euros per day. True, the administrator, without bargaining, gave us access for a day to try. It turned out that the wi-fi in our room was caught lousy, knocked out all the time. Well, at least you didn't have to pay.
So, we went downstairs to the reception, it didn't bother us. It was true, one inconvenience. On the keys there is a special non-removable keychain that is inserted into a special slot in the room to turn on the electricity. And if someone from your family wants to use the Internet until late downstairs, and someone goes to bed, for example, then you will have to wake him up, because. the key can not be pulled out - the light disappears. Well, something like this.
Air conditioning - also paid, 6 euros per day. At first we thought to take it, but then we somehow got used to it.
At first it may seem that the hotel is quite far from the sea. In truth, that's the way it is. It took about 15 minutes to walk. But it's one thing when you walk these 15 minutes somewhere on Luzanovka in Odessa, among all these Soviet nine-story buildings, and another thing - along Protaras. Nice architecture, people are walking around, palm trees are growing, beauty.
Meals are organized like this. Actually, it's an apartment hotel, each room has a small kitchen, utensils and all. True, we have never cooked anything, vacation after all) We took more breakfasts. You can take breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is right downstairs in the lobby. Everything is laid out in a small room, like a buffet. The choice of dishes is small, but for a week it was not very tired. Three types of ham, of which one is more or less, cheese, toast, cucumbers, tomatoes, muesli, milk, boiled eggs, tea, coffee. Butter, jam. Perhaps that's all. But breakfast is ok in my opinion. Who took lunch or dinner - went to a nearby restaurant ("Super C" is called).

The hotel is small, cozy looking hall. There is a small pool, a beautiful small courtyard, the view can be on the sea or the hotel courtyard.

Settlement: on the first day we were told at the reception that we would be relocated twice, as there are no rooms of our class (and our tour operator, obviously, got something wrong and did not tell us). For this we were offered a free safe for the entire hour of stay and two free lunches / evenings of your choice. It was a little inconvenient to relocate twice in 7 days, but the staff tried to smooth over that moment.

Rooms: well-kept rooms, new furniture, although renovated until 5 years ago. If you are stressed by rust between the tiles and small flaws in the repair - you are not here.
We had air conditioning for a fee, in August I wanted to die at night. This pleasure costs 6 euros a day. But there are rooms with air conditioning - you need to know. In our room everything was needed in normal condition: kettle, work stove, all utensils, refrigerator, on the balcony in one of our three rooms even had a cord for drying, without clothespins, though))
There is no towel or floor mat in the bathroom, so the shower floor is often wet, but can be tolerated.

Towels are not changed every day. Interval from 3 to 5 days. Garbage is taken out and the floor is wiped every day. The room on the 1st floor can be climbed through the balcony, so the safe is a good idea.

Internet: Wi-Fi pulls poorly. At the reception it is free, but blunt strongly. You can't talk on Viber, although communication with relatives is possible.

Meals: do not take breakfast if you do not want to eat boiled eggs, toast and oatmeal every day for a week.
Protaras in general: around the sign in English and Russian, except Greek. Wherever necessary, staff speak English and Russian.

Our general impression: at this price - a good hotel, beautiful sea and generally a beautiful and cozy place to relax. For more than a week, young people have nothing to do there, because everything is monotonous and calm.
Tip: be careful in the sun, you should take hats.

We bought food at the Lidl supermarket, it is really cheaper there than in the Metro or in other stores along the road. We cooked everything ourselves, bought vegetables, cheese and feta, fruits, meat on promotions, their beer is very tasty and cheap for 0.5 -1 euros, children took 12 pieces of ice cream for 2 euros. They cooked light soups for a couple of days, fried meat with potatoes (the potatoes are delicious, all smooth, without eyes), salads with feta, fruits, mangoes were taken there for 3.5 euros per kg (and near the sea the counter was already there for 6 euros It was).
The manager Prodromos was very pleasantly surprised when he invited us to a barbecue dinner: they fried meat there, meat rolls, salads were made, and it could all be wrapped in a flatbread - it was very tasty cooked, it was fun to hang out)
We went to a nearby restaurant for dinner several times, took meat or red fish there, they were accompanied by a portion of french fries and vegetables, water, pickled olives and some other pickled things, but really very spicy. A portion of meat or fish was enough for an adult and a child to eat to satiety.
I saw the pool at the hotel being cleaned in the morning, and in the afternoon, right when everyone was swimming, they added bleach from canisters - it scared me a little. Although it did not smell strongly of bleach and my eyes did not sting.
It’s really possible to go to the sea with bags (with all sorts of beach stuff) in the heat for about 20 minutes, along the way you can still go to souvenir shops, where the air conditioner cools the body a little))). There is a path to the sea along the road, then between the hotels, and the beach. Or you can go through the field behind the hotel and go to the hotel on the first line of the sea. There are many paid umbrellas and sunbeds on the beach, and enough of those with their own umbrella. The sea is clear and cool, there are almost no stones.
We rented a car (on the way to the sea behind a large fountain), 2 days 56 euros, went to Larnaca, Ayia Napa, Famagusta and Kyrenia.
