This hotel was chosen because 3 hotels in a row were not confirmed with us in the center of Protaras, and we had to move further from the center, but due to the lack of comments on the site, we went almost blindly, but did not regret it at all! In general, everything, as always, flew to Larnaca, met with the guide: a comfortable 8-seater mikrik, and not an Ikarus, as is often the case, there is an air conditioner in the cabin, and immediately surprised the right-hand drive, i. e. movement, as in England and Japan - left-hand side: ) It took 50 minutes to get to the Hotel! We arrived after 2 - so there were no problems with the settlement! 4 people work in shifts at the reception! 2 ladies are Russian! The rooms are all either with a sea view or with a side sea view!
We had a side view panorama for gatherings: ) The room itself is tidy, the furniture is new, the bed is 2 bedrooms, a mirror with a table and a chair, a table with two chairs, a wardrobe, a refrigerator without a mini bar (free in every room is a refrigerator), a good bathroom , no comments, an adapter for our plug-sockets at the reception for a deposit of 5 euros. upon return, the euro will be returned to you. Cleaning, as a rule, every day, they know that with tips, that without, linen is changed, I don’t even know how much, but we left a note and Eureka and we were Changed 3 times in all the time! The hotel is 4 storey. The lobby is not bad internet - free, but only in the lobby, and there is no public computer! 2 swimming pools, one for adults and one for children, there are many sun loungers around the pool - free of charge! I won’t say about the water, since I have never swum, but I prefer the beach after all!
Walk to the center of Protaras for about 30 minutes in a straight line - the original McDonald's (this is the center), along the way there will be a LIDL super market on the right - it works until 2.00! Prices are much cheaper than in shops near the hotels! Walking around protaras, I went through unconfirmed hotels, and we were glad that we ended up in Iris, because the center is very noisy, full of people, the music rumbles, I can’t even imagine how you can sit on the balcony and relax there! Beach: again, we were glad that we were far from the center, because the water on the central beach and in 3 bays near the hotel is 2 BIG DIFFERENCES! See for yourself! Near the hotel, there are 3 bays, the water is just pure, that is, it does not differ from caritnoks, amazingly transparent blue-green water, the bottom is white sand, so transparent that the fish can be seen from the height of your growth! HOW TO GET?
From the hotel you go to the Maistros hotel, turn behind it, go through, leaving it behind your back, then in front of you is a field, dumb-looking, small, go through it and the bays begin, or option 2, turn left before the field, go to the 1st turn to the right near the restaurant , then straight to the Hotel Cavo Maris or Thalassa and then everything starts from the 2nd bay! I personally highly recommend Bay No. 3, the bottom is better there, and somehow it is more pleasant! That is, this is the leftmost bay! Sun loungers are paid, but on a towel soame. Breeze almost all the time, little storm! In the morning, going into the sea, feel how small toothless fish bite your toes, there is even such a thalasso therapy service for a fee! But I chose to ignore them, because I do not like such things! With a mask, it will also be a pleasure to pay. there is something to see!
Meals: In my opinion, very good, breakfasts, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, fried bacon, cheeses, sausages, 3 types of yogurt (very cool), toast, butter, jams, cheese melts, coffee, tea, apple and orange juices. Muffins and cakes! Nutella! Dinners: dinners I immediately say that drinks are not included, no water, no tea, no coffee, only for an additional fee (but so everywhere), in general, the diet is not bad, side dishes, meat, salads! Of the fruits, only watermelons and melons, and sweets for dinner are a rarity! In general, in terms of food - this is of course not Egypt, but overall not bad! 2 halls - summer terrace and indoors! The only thing I recommend is to come early, because at the end of the meal hours, the assortment is not particularly replenished, and there are queues! Caution in the food plan on the summer playground - do not go unattended, because the sparrows are attacking! Do not be afraid to sit right on the plates!
In the kitchen, one minute is that the waiters behave with restraint, not entirely friendly, and this is sometimes felt, out of all one girl and one guy, are positively disposed, even intersting, how are you, how is the food? In general, also not Egypt! Regarding car rental and other things, you need a driver's license, my wave came up! All modes of transport except forks are needed! Exit the hotel, go right towards Protaras, after Maistros, on the opposite side of the street, see the rental "HamYam"! Works very nice guy Bulgarian! Vedik about 8 euros per day, scooter 15, quadric, from 30 euros (depending on the power - they took the simplest one - the speed is 50-60 rides), Buggy - 40 euros! (you will see, such a machine is low, like a racing one) - in general, you leave your rights as a deposit, and you are all free, addicted to the left-hand side and full speed ahead! on the sidewalks only on bikes, and there are bike paths everywhere! The day starts from the time you took the car!
We took a quadric, rode enough, went to Ayia Napa and to the extreme point of Cavo Greco! Great! The feeling of flying! Buses: The most common bus route is in Protaras 101 - 1 euro - bus with Conder, and the other way to Ayia Napa 102 - also 1 euro! Stop next to the hotel!
Conclusion: An excellent hotel for the money, Cyprus itself is insanely attractive and somehow so carefree! We will definitely come back and recommend to everyone! - Good impressions : )
